Patents Assigned to Sterilex, LLC
  • Patent number: 12575565
Abstract: Disinfectant/sanitizer solutions contain aldehyde, surfactant, a quaternary ammonium compound, a main solvent and a co-solvent. Clear disinfectant/sanitizer solutions are made by adding the components of the solutions in a certain order and mixing them together. Concentrated disinfectant/sanitizer solutions can be diluted prior to being applied to a hard surface. Disinfectant/Sanitizer solutions are in the form of a liquid or spray. Liquid disinfectant/sanitizer solutions may be applied to a hard surface using a wipe impregnated or wetted with the solutions.

  • Patent number: 12503670
Abstract: Aqueous compositions having an acidic pH comprise a primary organic acid, an ancillary organic acid that is different from the primary organic acid and a biodispersant. The aqueous compositions can be added to peracid containing disinfectant/sanitizer solutions to increase efficacy of peracids contained therein against microorganisms and/or biofilms.

  • Patent number: 12274267
Abstract: Quat-free surface treatment powders comprising a peroxide source, an acyl group donor and an alkalinity source are used to disinfect and/or sanitize hard surfaces. The surface treatment powders can be applied to a hard surface and left there for a period of time. The surface treatment powders are ambient moisture activated, which means that they can generate peracetic acid when a portion or all of the powder that is on the hard surface adsorbs water from the atmosphere. In addition or alternatively, the surface treatment powders are activated, i.e., generate peracetic acid through the incidental or purposeful addition of liquid thereto.

  • Patent number: 12060543
Abstract: Ambient moisture-activatable surface treatment powders containing persalt, positively charged phase transfer agent and alkaline pH buffering may be activatable without the addition of liquid. Some ambient moisture-activatable surface treatment powders are substantially free of bleach activators and/or chlorine. Methods of use of ambient moisture activatable powders include applying them to the surfaces to be treated.

  • Patent number: 10927397
Abstract: Generation of foam when spraying biofilm-detection compositions onto a surface may entrain air and create bubbles, which lead to false positives. Aqueous biofilm-detecting compositions containing low-foaming surfactants, radical scavenger, solvent, thickener, hydrogen peroxide, chelating and coupling agent may be sprayed onto a surface to test for the presence of biofilm without generating excess bubbles or foam.
