The precipitation tube is designed as a modular tube system. It has at least two wall parts which each form a periphery segment of an inner periphery of the precipitation tube and are connected to each other so as to form at least part of the inner circumference of the precipitation tube. The modular tube system may include at least two wall parts, which each form a length segment of the precipitation tube and are connected to each other so as to form at least part of the length of the precipitation tube. The precipitation tube bundle is modular and includes a supporting structure on which a plurality of precipitation tubes are detachably held by connecting elements.

Abstract: The invention relates to a housing (1) for a wet electrostatic precipitator (100), comprising an inlet (2) and an outlet (3) for an exhaust gas stream and a base body (4) which is designed as an elongated hollow body, said housing being made of plastic or a plastic-containing material, wherein the inlet (2) and the outlet (3) are spaced apart from one another in the direction of the longitudinal extension of the base body (4). The protective layer (40) is formed from a fibre-free material or a substantially fibre-free material. The invention relates to a chemical composition for forming a protective layer (40) of a hollow body (10) for channelling media, in particular chemically and/or mechanically aggressive media, said protective layer protecting against chemical and/or mechanical attacks. Furthermore, the invention relates to method for producing a hollow body (10) for channelling media, in particular chemically and/or mechanically aggressive media, for example, of the chemical industry and/or the process industry.
