Abstract: A drug injection device includes a last dose setting having a main drive pin, a drive wheel, a driven wheel, an abutment element fixedly coupled to, or integrally formed with, the driven wheel. The drive wheel has a rotation axis parallel to a longitudinal axis and is configured to be driven about the longitudinal axis by a knob and to be periodically driven in rotation about the rotation axis by the main drive pin, during a drug dose setting. The driven wheel has a second rotation axis parallel or coaxial to said longitudinal axis and is configured to be periodically driven about the longitudinal axis by the drive wheel. The abutment element is configured to prevent the rotation of the drive wheel about the longitudinal axis when the knob has made a predetermined number of full and/or partial rotations about the longitudinal axis correlated to the predetermined drug volume.

Abstract: An apparatus for packaging containers of devices for pharmaceutical use includes a robotic arm movable from a gripping position, in which it picks up a container previously sealed by at least one protective sheet, to a release position in which it inserts the container into a bag through a suitable opening provided on a side of the bag; wherein the robotic arm is connected to at least one position control camera configured to read coordinates of a midpoint of the opening with respect to a lying plane on which the bag lies and/or an angle of rotation of the bag with respect to an axis perpendicular to the lying plane, so as to ensure the correct positioning and release of the container inside the bag.

Abstract: An apparatus for inspecting containers includes a rotation device which is adapted to rotate the container about the axis of symmetry; a camera sensitive to said predetermined electromagnetic radiation and with the container located in the field of view thereof; a processing unit to control the rotation device to move the container at a first angular speed constant for a first time period; acquiring at least a first and a second series of images of a portion of the container in a rotation thereof through 360°; to identify defective areas having at least one characteristic different from the characteristics of adjacent areas, generating first and second maps of the defective areas; to compare the position of the defective areas of the maps; to establish that first impurities are present in the container or in the liquid contained in the container.

Abstract: A graphical programming interface for programming an inspection process of samples. The inspection process is a recognition process, based on images, of defects of samples. A graphical programming interface includes at least one image input type block including an input into a memory of a multiplicity of images of at least one sample, a multiplicity of operation type blocks. Each operation type block includes at least one operation which processes images, a multiplicity of sorting type blocks. The graphical programming interface allows at least one image input type block to be selected if more than one input type block is provided for, at least one operation type block among the multiplicity of operation type blocks, and at least one sorting type block among the multiplicity of sorting type blocks.

Abstract: A drug injection device includes a housing with a cartridge having a predetermined drug volume, a dose setting mechanism for setting a drug dose, and a dose delivery mechanism. A dose setting service element rotates about a longitudinal axis during the drug dose setting. The dose setting mechanism has a last dose setting device to prevent setting of a drug dose greater than the drug volume remaining in the cartridge. The last dose setting device includes a pinion coaxial with the longitudinal axis that rotates about the longitudinal axis with the dose setting service element during drug dose setting, and a rack engaged with the pinion that moves parallel to the longitudinal axis when the pinion rotates. The pinion and the rack have mutual abutment elements that prevent further rotation of the pinion after the rack has travelled an axial length correlated to the predetermined drug volume.

Abstract: The method linking information in a database to a specific product unit in a production run and making this information available to a user comprises the steps of providing each product unit with a unique identifier tag, providing a database having units of information and image information of each unique identifier tag; linking at least one of said units of information to each of said unique identifier tags; and providing a user with a reader being able to read said unique identifier tag. The reader reads said unique identifier tag as image information and said request system compares said unique identifier tag image information from said reader with said said unique identifier tag image information stored in the database to retrieve said at least one unit of information linked to said unique identifier tag and provides said information linked to said unique identifier tag to said user.
