  • Patent number: 4451026
Abstract: A clamping member is urged to move in a first direction along a path substantially parallel to a work supporting surface in response to the application of a single linear force, such as a fluid actuated motor. Stop means limit the travel of the clamping member in the first direction. In response to continued force applied by the fluid motor, the clamping member is caused to move in a second direction anchoring a workpiece to the work supporting surface.
