Abstract: In an image projector having at least one projection beam that is actuated in the raster mode and in the calligraphic mode for representing a raster component and a calligraphic component of a total image that is projected onto a display, to attain a higher image brightness and a sharper image contrast during projection in non-darkened rooms, the at least one projection beam is a laser beam (19) that is split into two linearly-polarized partial beams (21, 21′), with the two partial beams (21, 21′) being subjected to a separate modulation and deflection such that the one partial beam (21′) writes the raster component and the other partial beam writes the calligraphic component. The two partial beams (21, 21′) are projected simultaneously onto the display; the partial beams may be optically superposed prior to being projected.
Abstract: A first laser beam is transmitted through the actuation of the gun trigger, the trajectory of the virtual projectile is calculated, and the deviations of the trajectory from the target direction at the firing time are determined. The first laser beam is pivoted corresponding to the trajectory deviations, and the transit time of the laser pulses of the first laser beam reflected by the target is measured, and used to determine the target range. For this target range, the trajectory of the fired virtual projectile is calculated, and compared to the time that has passed between the firing time and the reception of the reflected laser pulses. If the two match within a tolerance range, a second laser beam comprising encoded laser pulses is transmitted in the transmission direction of the first laser beam, which is received at the target, where the impact damage is calculated.
Abstract: An apparatus for detecting leakages in structural members (8) is disclosed. The apparatus includes a device (2) for conveying gas through the structural member (8) to be investigated, a camera (14) having a narrow band filter characteristic matched to the spectral absorption of the gas and a device (16, 18) connected to the camera (14) for processing and displaying the recorded image of the structural member (8) to be investigated.
