Abstract: A gas turbine system has a shaft assembly for controlling a flap for the hot gases in the form of a solid stub shaft connected to a tubular shaft via a mechanical entrainer system either in the form of a set of links articulated to the stub shaft and the tubular shaft or in a radial claw arrangement in which between radial claws on the stub shaft, axial entrainers of the hollow shaft engage.

Abstract: A closing arrangement for ducts having large cross-sectional areas, particularly flue gas ducts for power plants. The arrangement includes at least two flaps which are mounted on at least one flap shaft. Lever arrangements composed of crank arms and tightening arms for swinging the flaps are connected to the flaps. At least one drive shaft is connected to the lever arrangements. The drive shaft extends transversely of the flap shaft. The transverse arrangement of the drive shaft makes it possible to open and close the flaps by means of a single drive shaft.

Abstract: A duct leading to a bypass and a duct leading to a heat exchanger are arranged at the output side of the gas turbine. The two ducts can be closed alternately by flaps. Pivotable guide plates are arranged in the branching area of the two ducts. The guide plates are pivoted by linkages connected to the flaps in the duct leading to the heat exchanger, so that, when the flaps in the bypass are open, the guide plates are inclined relative to the flow of combustion gases and deflect the flow into the duct leading to the bypass. When the flaps in the duct leading to the bypass are closed, the guide plates are pivoted to extend parallel to the flow of combustion gases. In this position, the guide plates do not provide any resistance to the flow of combustion gases to the heat exchanger.

Abstract: The invention regards a flap linkage for several rotary flaps arranged along a parallel axis and positioned within a frame. The rotary flap shafts have a double-armed lever on each end. Transmission elements of an adjustment gear mesh on the arms of the double-armed lever. The transmission elements are rigid pushrods, and the levers have been configured in an articulated manner on the ends of the rotary flap shafts. The swivel axes of the levers are parallel to a line that intersects the rotation axes of the pushrods at the lever arms. Hubs have been rigidly connected to the ends of the rotary flap shafts. The hubs are supported with the aid of springs against the intermediate levers mounted on the ends of the rotary flap shafts.
