Abstract: A system for connecting and exchanging information between owners of an asset or product, manufacturers of the asset or product, servicers of the asset or product and experts on the asset or product. Each member is provided with a digital asset/product object corresponding to the asset/product that they own, customized to its classification within its industry and that stores a record of specific information for the asset or product that a customer owns. Information about that asset or product and configurations remains up to date via two-way exchange of data with other systems or data entries. Private groups and collaborations are created and managed based on asset or product classification and company. Members can share information, socialize in private and public groups, and access knowledge of subject experts and manufacturers directly or through group feeds.
