Selective culling system introduces a feedback control method for remote users (e.g., client-side) to customize the selection, transmission, and display of datasets (e.g., on server-side) or any collection or subset of datasets.

Abstract: A chemically activated lighting system is provided which serves to clearly mark an exit door or hatch as an emergency escape route. The system utilizes two chemical agents which when mixed together form a compound which radiates light. The agents are stored in a container which defines separate chambers for each agent. When the system is activated, the volume of each chamber is reduced, thereby forcing each agent into a mixing chamber where they are combined. The compound is then passed through a transparent conduit which is formed around the escape exit.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a liquid activated buckle release mechanism for safety belt harnesses and restraint devices used in moving crafts such as airplanes, boats, land based vehicles and the like. The buckle includes a latch for receiving and retaining one end of a safety belt within the buckle, a release mechanism for releasing the latch in order to free the belt, a liquid detection circuit for detecting the presence of liquid and controlling the operation of the release mechanism when liquid is detected.
