    Abstract: A plier type stripper tool is provide for stripping sheathed cable of the type having a three spaced insulated power conducting wires, a ground wire disposed among the insulated wires and a sheath surrounding the wires. In one embodiment, the stripper tool includes a pair of levers having jaw, boss and handle portions. The stripper tool may further include a pivot joining the boss portions to enable relative movement of the levers about the pivot between open and closed portions. The jaw portions each have blade sections for coactively circumferentially cutting a cable sheath when the levers are moved from the open to the closed position.

    Abstract: A plier tool having first and second jaws independently and rotatably disposed about a pivot. A pair of handles are rotatably disposed about the same pivot. The handles are attached on opposite sides of the jaws by a bolt that passes through openings in the handles and through the center of the jaws. The handles are capable of being alternately engaged with the jaws by a pair of pivoting members such that the tool is changeable between a first position where the first jaw is engaged with the first handle and the second jaw is engaged with the second handle and a second position where the first jaw is engaged with the second handle and the second jaw is engaged with the first handle. In this manner, the tool can be switched from an internal retaining ring plier to an external retaining ring plier.

    Abstract: A manifold for charging a system which when in use cycles a refrigerant between liquid and gaseous states is disclosed. The manifold includes a housing defining a flow passage extending from an inlet to an outlet. Structure is within the housing to define a capillary in parallel communication with a section of the passage. A refrigerant state control valve is connected to the housing. The valve, when in the open position, enables concurrent refrigerant flow through both the section of the passage and the capillary to charge such a system with refrigerant in a liquid state. The valve when in the closed position sufficiently blocks the section of the passage to cause all refrigerant flow to be through the capillary thereby to enable charging such a system with refrigerant in a gaseous state.

    Abstract: A ratchet wrench is disclosed. The wrench includes a handle including a head and an elongate grippable portion. The head includes toothed walls defining a palm socket receiving aperture. The handle carries a manually actuatable spring biased lever having a latching portion projecting into the aperture in a normal position and an external actuating portion spaced from the latching portion for manual actuation against the spring bias to shift the latching portion from its normal position to a release position at least partially within a lever recess in the handle. A palm ratchet is disclosed which has a toothed perimeteral portion insertable into the aperture when the latching portion is in its release position. The perimeteral portion includes a surface defining a latching recess for receiving the latching portion when the latching portion is in the normal position thereby maintaining the handle and palm ratchet in a connected condition.
