Abstract: A quick change tool holder for a punch press having a die holder, a die base secured to the puch press and a releasable holding device which is manually actuatable to secure and release the die holder to and from the die base without the use of any tools. The die holder is secured to the die base horizontally, vertically and rotationally by an interengagement between the parts. Preferably the releasable holding device includes a spring biased plunger carried on the die holder which has a portion normally biased into engagement with the die base.
