Abstract: Systems and methods for fingerprint recognition-based event admission are provided. A user may use a user device to purchase a ticket for an event and provide a fingerprint scanned on the user device to a fingerprint validation system. The fingerprint validation system may associate the purchased ticket with the user and store the fingerprint template associated with the user as a reference template. When the user arrives at an entrance of the event, the user may scan a fingerprint at a fingerprint scan device at the entrance. Fingerprint validation system may compare the received fingerprint template with stored fingerprint reference templates, validate that the user is associated with a purchased ticket, and grant access to the event.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method for allocating ticket inventory on a buyer's side. The method includes steps of, loading, the webpage, providing a map, checking compatibility of map, initializing plug-in, and mapping seats. Further, the map is represented with respective tickets with location, quantity and amount on the webpage. Moreover, the ticket list with triggering onInit is generated on the webpage or an existing external tabular ticket list is controlled by the plugin thereby loading the map completely with corresponding ticket inventory matching respective portions on map simultaneously while loading the webpage on the buyer's device thereby enabling the buyer to select desired seating section.

Abstract: A system for generating a package data object may include an electronic database including first and second entries. The system may also include a server configured to perform operations. The operations may include receiving filter criteria over from an electronic device, and based on the filter criteria, retrieving the first and second entries. The operations may also include comparing one or more attributes of the first and second entries, and based on the comparison, adding the first entry from the electronic database to a package object. The operations may further include, based on the filter criteria, retrieving third and fourth entries from the electronic database, and comparing one or more attributes of the third and fourth entries, and based on the comparison, adding the third entry from the electronic database to the package data object.

Abstract: A method and system which enables users of a ticketing marketplace to exchange tickets in order obtain groups of adjacent seats for an event. The method may include obtaining data associated with a first transaction for acquiring a first ticket by a first user, obtaining a first indication of willingness of the first user to negotiate exchange of the first ticket, and determining a set of exchange terms. A second user may then request to obtain a second ticket corresponding to a seat adjacent to a seat corresponding to the first ticket obtained by the first user, and exchange, with the first user, a third ticket for the first ticket. Upon a determination that the third ticket satisfies the set of exchange terms, the first ticket obtained by the first user is automatically transferred to the second user and a third ticket is automatically transferred to the first user.

Abstract: Digital content reconfiguration techniques and systems are described that address physical accommodations. In one example, a physical accommodation module identifies a type of digital content being requested and obtains the digital content. The physical accommodation module also obtains ticket data associated with a user that made the request. The ticket data is then processed by the physical accommodation module to determine a physical accommodation. The determined physical accommodation is then used by the physical accommodation module to reconfigure the digital content, and as such, may dynamically address the physical accommodation, e.g., for mobility, visual, auditory accommodations, whether the user is attending the event with minor children, and so forth.

Abstract: A method of generating a user-interface to be displayed at a remote location may include receiving a search request for an item listing receiving a search request for an event at a venue with multiple rows. The method may also include retrieving a first listing and a second listing in a same row of the multiple rows based on the search request, and determining which of the first listing and the second listing is a listing selected for display and which is a listing selected to not be displayed. The method may additionally include generating instructions to be transmitted to a remote location to generate a user interface to be displayed at the remote location, the user interface including the listing selected for display and excluding the listing selected to not be displayed, and transmitting the instructions to the remote location.

Abstract: A method of electronic file format conversion and optimization includes requesting a second set of information following receipt of a first set of information used to transfer an electronic file on a website. The method includes receiving the second set of information from a first computing device associated with a first entity. The method includes receiving user input from a second computing device associated with a second entity that initiates transfer of the electronic file from the first computing device to the second computing device. In response to additional user input from the second computing device used to access the electronic file, the method includes accessing an additional set of information related to the electronic file and converting the electronic file to an optimized file based on the second information and the additional information. At least a version of the optimized file being formatted for display on the second computing device.

Abstract: A ticket seller system can offer an enhanced event experience for users of the system by tracking the locations of ticketholders before and during an event to offer ticket resale and seat upgrade opportunities to the users. The locations of users can be harnessed to offer enhanced value to event attendees and to allow event owners to maximize the use of their venue during an event by offering new upgrades and resale options to patrons. Users who might miss an event and otherwise lose all of their ticket value can be detected, based on their location, and offered an opportunity to recoup some of the cost by reselling the tickets. Event attendees who desire to upgrade their seats at an event can be offered the opportunity to purchase upgrade tickets for seats that have been vacated by other attendees that have left the event while the event is ongoing.

Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for fan identification on a communication device for a performer during a performance. A service provider may determine attendees to a performance given by a performer. The service provider may also determine fan information for each of the attendees, for example, using media related to the performer on a communication device of the attendees, biometrics of the attendees during the performance, and/or social networking interactions. Based on the fan information for one or more attendees, the service provider may choose to recognize certain attendees during the performance, such as with a message from the performer or an upgrade. The service provider may notify the performer on a wearable or prompter device during the performance. The service provider may further track the attendees' interest during the performance and provide feedback to the performer.

Abstract: Operations to blend electronic inventory are provided. The operations may include obtain a request for multiple seats at a venue and determine a combination of data objects from a data storage that represent seats at the venue that meet the request. The combination of the data objects may include at least one of multiple first data objects and at least one of multiple second data objects. The first data objects may be tagged with a first tag and are associated with first seats in the venue controlled by a first entity and the second data objects may be tagged with a second tag and are associated with second seats in the venue controlled by a second entity, and the combination of the data objects is determined irrespective of whether the data objects include the first tag or the second tag.

Abstract: System, computer-readable medium, and methods are provided to determine interest areas of an event held at a venue location. A communication interface of a server device may receive a search request for an event, where the search request includes event data indicating a venue location of the event. An interest processing component of the server device determines an excitement interest in the event based on at least one of the event data and interest data of a user account. An area processing component of the server device determines one or more excitement areas at the venue location based at least on the excitement interest in the event. A ticket processing component of the server device determines one or more available event tickets for the event at the venue location based at least on the one or more excitement areas at the venue location.

Abstract: A system and methods for mapping price and location of tickets in an event venue are described. An interactive event venue seat map is provided by a network-based system that implements an online marketplace for tickets for upcoming events. The interactive event venue seat map enables sellers to view pricing information and transaction information for both sold and current event listings for any section or zone in an event venue. The interactive event venue seat map allows sellers to browse and click on sections to see sold and listed data for any section and zone in the event venue and to compare a proposed sale price to available pricing information of sold and current event listings in comparable sections. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

Abstract: A method may include receiving, at a system of a ticketing marketplace, a request for a ticket to an event from a device of a user; generating a query for the user based on the ticket requested, the query requesting information from the user regarding a user preference associated with the ticket for the event; directing the query to the device of the user; in response to directing the query, receiving a answer from the device of the user; applying the answer to a machine learning model to determine a recommended ticket for the user, the machine learning model generated based on an association between ticket locations at a venue of the event and natural language phrases of users associated with the event; selecting the recommended ticket for the event based on an output by the machine learning model; and automatically facilitating purchase of the recommended ticket.

Abstract: There are provided systems and method for validity determination of an event ticket and automatic population of admission information. A user wishing to sell a ticket for admission to an event at a venue may upload an image containing a visual representation of the image. Ticket information may be extracted from the visual representation. The ticket information may be extracted using optical character recognition and/or polygon coordinates of information with assistance from template for the tickets. Additionally, using the ticket information or the visual representation of the ticket, ticket validity may be determined. The ticket validity may depend on the information presented on the ticket, the placement of the information on the ticket, or other factors, such as a database including sold and available tickets at the venue through validating with a Primary Partner. If the ticket is suspicious, the ticket may be reviewed or sale of the ticket prohibited.

Abstract: An improved user interface is presented on a client device of a seller of an item. The improved user interface includes one or more interactive user interface elements for facilitating a listing of the item on a secondary market associated with a set of online exchange platforms. The listing of the ticket on the secondary market is simultaneous with the listing of the ticket on a primary market. A selection element provides for selecting one or more connections of the seller to whom the listing of the ticket on the secondary market is to be made accessible. Based on a determination that a connection of the one or more connections of the seller has entered into an agreement to purchase the ticket on the secondary market, the seller is charged a listing fee associated with the secondary market and the listing of the item is automatically removed from the secondary market.

Abstract: A ticket purchase application is installed in a communication device to facilitate event ticket purchase. An operating system of the communication device recognizes a type of Uniform Resource Locator (URL) that indicates an entertaining or sporting event. The URL includes a unique code associated with a specific event. The operating system of the communication device may detect user interactions that trigger the URL. When the URL is triggered, the ticket purchase application may be started and the unique code in the URL may be parsed and forwarded to the ticket purchase application. The ticket purchase application uses the unique code to identify the event and searches for tickets associated with the event. The ticket purchase application may list available tickets of the event in an order based on the user's preference. Accordingly, a user may quickly find and purchase a desired ticket by clicking on an URL.

Abstract: Technologies are provided for generation of composite messages using qualifying events corresponding to respective ticketed performances and qualifying actions of a subscriber of a service platform. By analyzing qualifying events and qualifying actions jointly, the disclosed technologies supply a number of contextually-relevant individual messages collected in a composite message that is delivered to the subscriber periodically. The individual messages describe ticketed performances that are relevant to the subscriber. The composite message also provides reasons for the inclusion of the individual messages in the composite message. The individual messages can be arranged within the composite message according to a layout based on a ranking of priority scores. Each priority score conveys a level of relevancy of a ticketed performance with respect to a subscriber.

Abstract: A distributed network transaction system and method includes a central exchange computer connected via the Internet (world wide web) to multiple remote computers associated with, for example, individual brokers. A central database is provided with the exchange computer and each remote computer can have a respective database for information that the individual brokers was to maintain separate from the system. E-commerce transactions are conducted by the system, which performs a number of transaction-related functions, such as pushing tickets up to the system for sale, purchasing tickets online, shipping, web site-related and bookkeeping. The system and methodology accommodate price event functions where non real-time tickets can be sold and the orders filled with tickets acquired on the system.
