    Abstract: Molded foam bodies made of silicone can be produced in large series by means of known injection molding machines for liquid silicone by virtue of the fact that mixtures of ammonium carbonate, and/or ammonium carbaminate, and/or ammonium hydrogen carbonate, in powdered form, and at least one of the two liquid-paste-like components of liquid silicone are produced and the two liquid silicone components are then processed in the known manner, with the proviso that the mold is not completely filled with the dispersion.
