    Abstract: There is provided a stirring device including a stirring tank including an inner peripheral wall which is circular in cross section, at least one circulating impeller and at least one dispersion blade which are located inside the stirring tank and rotatable around a vertical axis independently of each other, and a guide ring disposed radially outward near the dispersion blade. The circulating impeller is disposed along the inner peripheral wall of the stirring tank, and rotates around the vertical axis to form at least a downward flow in a stirring object existing inside the stirring tank. The dispersion blade rotates to apply a shear force to the stirring object, and is disposed at a radially inner position of the stirring tank from the circulating impeller, and at a position in contact with a flow of the stirring object, which is formed by the circulating impeller.

A stirring device includes a stirring tank that defines a stirring chamber; a plurality of stirring blades that are disposed in the stirring chamber; a shear blade drive shaft that extends from a lower side of the stirring tank to the stirring chamber and rotationally drives at least one shear blade among the plurality of stirring blades; and a fixed ring and a rotating ring that is disposed radially outside the shear blade drive shaft and seals between the stirring tank and the shear blade drive shaft. A sealing surface of the mechanical seal structure is formed at the same height as or above a lowermost portion of the stirring chamber.

A stirring apparatus includes a stirred tank having a bottomed cylinder shape, a rotation shaft concentrically or substantially concentrically disposed inside the stirred tank, and a bottom blade that extends from the rotation shaft so as to extend in a radial direction and a vertical direction, of the stirred tank, and a lower edge of the bottom blade has a shape conforming to a bottom wall surface of the stirred tank. Here, a clearance is formed between the lower edge of the bottom blade and the lower wall surface and the clearance satisfies the following condition: 1% of the inner diameter of the stirred tank<the clearance<4.5% of the inner diameter of the stirred tank.
