Abstract: A remote monitoring method, performed at a central location by a controller associated with the central location, for use with multiple remotely located boats is described involving determining, based upon first location information, second location information and tide information, whether a water-fed air conditioner of a first boat or a water-fed air conditioner of a second boat should be shut off or turned back on due to tide-caused depth changes at a first location or second location. A controller for a boat has at least one processor; and programming which, when executed will cause the at least one processor to, when the boat's air conditioner is operating, cause at least a water pump pumping water to the condenser to shut off at a time, based upon a depth at the current location of the boat of less than a specified minimum acceptable depth.

Abstract: A system for providing raw water for cooling of one or more Auxiliary Systems of a Luxury Boat, when the Luxury Boat is in Temporary Dry Storage involves a pump, external to the Luxury Boat, a controller coupled to the external pump and a sensor coupled to a boat-based pump controller on the Luxury Boat. The sensor is configured to sense a trigger signal from the boat-based pump controller indicating that raw water is to be pumped to the one or more Auxiliary Systems and send a signal to the controller that will cause the controller to start the external pump pumping raw water to the Luxury Boat. A related method for controlling raw water supply to one or more Auxiliary Systems of a Luxury Boat, when the Luxury Boat is in Temporary Dry Storage is also described.

Abstract: A system for providing raw water for cooling Auxiliary Systems of a Luxury Boat in Temporary Dry Storage involves a pump coupled to a Dry Storage Lift capable of moving the Luxury Boat between an in-water position and a dry storage position, a raw water inlet of the pump is movable between a first position out of a source of the raw water and a second position in the raw water source, and wherein, when the Dry Storage Lift has the Luxury Boat in the in-water position, the raw water inlet will be in the first position and when the Dry Storage Lift has the Luxury Boat in the dry storage position, the raw water inlet will be in the second position.

Abstract: A control apparatus for a climate control system of a boat involves at least one processor, non-transitory storage accessible by the processor, and programming which, when executed by the at least one processor will cause the at least one processor to, when a water-fed climate control unit of the boat is operating A) determine a then-current depth at a current location of the boat, B) compare the then-current depth at the current location of the boat relative to a specified minimum acceptable depth, and C) when the then-current depth at the current location of the boat is less than the specified minimum acceptable depth, cause the CCU and water pump to shut off. A corresponding method is also described.
