Abstract: In a roller pair for a roller testing stand with two, commonly driven, rollers the distance of one of them which with respect to the other being adjustable, such as known in itself in a so-callead “universal roller testing stand”, the invention proposes, to simplify the driving structure, that of this adjustable roller the axis can be displaced along a circular arc, of which the center essentially coincides with the axis of a driving gear or -wheel, in such a way that during the adjustment the distance to this axis remains constant.

Abstract: The invention provides a method for determining the amount of undissolved gas present in a hydraulic system by supplying hydraulic medium thereto under overpressure, one of the parameters Pressure (P) and Volume (V) being set during this supply and the course of the variation of the other parameter (Volume (V) or Pressure (P)), which is dependent thereon and on the amount of undissolved gas, being recorded; the detection results are then compared with those which were calculated and/or are known for a reference system which corresponds to the system and is subjected to the same treatment when the hydraulic medium present therein contains no dissolved gas or a known amount of dissolved gas; from this comparison results an indication of the amount of undissolved gas, and also of its location, in the system.

Abstract: Method and device for testing an anti-skid braking system (ABS) of a motor vehicle, using a roller test bench with at least four rollers or pairs of rollers. These rollers are put into rotation by the roller bench and braked by the brakes of the vehicle. A difference in speed of rotation between at least one of the (pairs of) rollers and the other(s) is brought about by the roller bench. During the braking, the response of the anti-skid system to this difference in speed is observed.
