Abstract: A combination vaporize/humidifier having a bucket member for holding water, a vaporizer head and a humidifier head wherein either connectors are provided on the humidifier head and vaporizer head to directly connect the heads to the bucket member. An alternative embodiment provides for an adapter plate such that the adapter plate allows for the heads to be securely attached to the bucket member.
Abstract: A cutting disc (12) for a lawn mower, the disc (12) having a plurality of cutting blades (13) and being formed with apertures (23). Associated with the apertures (23) are fan blades (22) which force air downwardly through the disc (12) to aid in mulching cut grass.
Abstract: An improved ignition system for igniting combustible gas used in cooking and other types of devices. The ignition system includes an ignition mechanism having a spark generator that is electrically connected to two electrodes. When the spark generator is activated, a spark is produced between the electrodes which ignites combustible gas emanating from a burner. The ignition system also includes a lighter tube assembly having a lighter tube that extends from a main burner to secondary burners. The lighter tube is connected to a dual valve which provides gas flow to both the lighter tube and to the main burner. An ignition mechanism is provided which ignites the gas emanating from both the main burner and lighter tube, thus enabling the secondary burners to subsequently be ignited via the lighter tube.

Abstract: A rotisserie cooking appliance includes a base and attached wall in the form of a vertically bisected cylinder. The base contains a centrally-located spindle for the attachment thereon of a drip pan and a spit and basket assembly. The spit and basket assembly includes a circular wire basket for containing the food item to be cooked, with a spit attached to the center thereof, the spit having an integral handle at the top to facilitate the insertion and removal of the spit and basket assembly from the rotisserie. A electric heating element is provided which is located to the rear of the rotisserie, which emits more thermal radiation near the bottom of the cooking chamber than at the top thereof. A removable aluminum reflective element is configured behind the heating element to further direct thermal radiation towards the spit and basket assembly. A single door configured as a vertically bisected cylinder made of a transparent heat resistant plastic material is provided.

Abstract: A control for an electric heating device for adjusting the duration of the device's heating cycle in order to effectively compensate for variations in the operating voltage supplied to the device. The control includes a means for adjusting the duration of the heating cycle, wherein the adjustment means generates a control voltage for controlling the duration of the heating cycle that is a dynamic function of the magnitude of the operating voltage.
Abstract: A blender blade having a bottom wavy or undulate configuration for blending ingredients in a blender and a top aerating blade. The wavy blade stirs ingredients into the mixture, rather than chopping and grinding the ingredients, thereby retaining the ingredients integrity. The top blade pulls ingredients and air into the mixture to be mixed. The resultant mixture has a heterogenous, rather and homogenous, textured consistency.
Abstract: A multi-layered heating device including a first container having a top layer and a bottom layer. A second container, containing heat retaining fluid, is positioned inside the first container and adjacent to the top layer thereof. Adjacent to the second container is an electrical heating element, and a layer of padding material is positioned between the electrical heating element and the bottom layer of the first container. A preferred embodiment of the heating device includes at least one thermostat, with the second container having a first layer and a second layer wherein at least one portion of each of the layers are secured together to form at least one depression which is devoid of the heat retaining fluid and which coincides with the at least one thermostat.

Abstract: This invention discloses a mixing tool for an ice cream maker. The mixing tool is substantially helix-shaped and is disposed within the freezing chamber of an ice cream maker. The mixing tool serves a three-fold purpose. First, the mixing tool scrapes frozen ice cream mixture off of the walls of the freezing chamber. Second, the mixing tool is capable of whipping air into the ice cream mixture if the rate of rotation of the mixing tool is high. Third, the mixing tool urges frozen ice cream toward the dispensing valve of the freezing chamber.
Abstract: A phosphorescent assembly for humidifiers and vaporizers that enables the vaporizers and humidifiers to be easily seen in dark or dimly lit areas. The presently preferred embodiment of the invention provides for the water reservoir in both the humidifiers and the vaporizers to be blow-molded from a phosphorescent, plastic material that will be luminescent for several hours after being exposed to radiation within the light frequency spectrum.
Abstract: An electrical safety circuit for discontinuing the operating power to an electrical device when overheat conditions are present. The safety circuit includes a conductive element in thermal proximity to at least one of the circuit elements of the electrical device that is energized by the operating power. The conductive element is structured so as to quickly break in response to high temperatures. A switching circuit is included which responds to a break in the conductive element by discontinuing the operating power to the electrical device.
