Abstract: Briefly, the invention involves a hinge construction. The hinge construction includes a pair of contoured wing members connected at one end with a living hinge, each wing member including a portion of a hinge barrel. The wings are constructed to be folded around a hinge pin, forming the hinge barrel and positioning the wings in a generally parallel relationship with respect to each other. A portion of a wall or door jamb is positioned between the wings. Fasteners or the like are secured through the wings to fix the assembly, whereby the hinge pin is free to rotate within the barrel created by the folded wings.
Abstract: The present invention involves the provision of a truss assembly and method which includes components that have segments pre-connected in a manner that allows the connected parts to be collapsed for packaging and shipping with the other components of a shed or the like.

Abstract: The present invention provides a system or kit of connectors and panels which can be readily assembled to form a structure with the use of a minimal number of tools. Panels are precut so that measurements and cutting of the panel component materials is eliminated. Connectors are provided for attachment to the panels which allow the panels to be assembled to the floor and roof panels without the need for fasteners. The roof and floor structures are formed from interlocking plastic panels. The roof and floor panels include a structure that cooperates with the connectors secured to the wall panels to allow for the construction of a plurality of structures using like constructed connectors. Wall panels may be chosen from a variety of materials which allow a consumer to construct a building such as a storage shed that best suits his/her needs.
Abstract: The instant invention describes an improved inlet/outlet fluid conduit assembly having an inlet and outlet conduit for providing transportation of a fluid from a fluid supply source, i.e. a water spigot, to a fluid dispensing source, such as a hose. The inlet/outlet fluid conduit assembly uses a minimal number of interconnecting parts, thereby reducing the need for continued maintenance. When maintenance is required, the improved inlet/outlet fluid conduit assembly is quickly and easily disassembled to provide quick replacement of worn parts. In addition, the improved inlet/outlet fluid conduit assembly is constructed in such a manner that wear and tear of the outlet conduit resulting from long-term use is minimized.
Abstract: A telescoping pole and blade to form a snow rake. The pole has a plurality of segments selectively axially movable relative to one another. The pole segments are keyed to one another to prevent relative rotation between adjacent pole segments. A lock device is associated with adjacent pairs of pole segments to selectively fix the relative axial positions of the pairs of pole segments.

Abstract: A hybrid play set is disclosed which includes twin towers. Each of the towers includes at least two levels. A play house and an enclosed area can be provided within one tower. A sand box, a ladder, a slide and a climbing wall can be provided within the other tower. A swing set is also secured to one side of one of the towers. The components from which the play set is made can be plow molded plastic, wood or a composite of blow molded plastic and wood/metal reinforcement.

Abstract: A storage unit having sidewalls and a lid hinged to a sidewall. A support device has one end mounted to the lid and one end received in a track recessed in a sidewall and operable to follow in a travel path defined by the track when the lid is raised and lowered. The track having a rest surface on which the end of the support device in the track can rest to support the lid in the open position. The storage unit can include a latch assembly associated with a sidewall and the lid to selectively secure the lid in a closed position.
Abstract: An improved reel assembly comprised of two identically molded semi-circular core halves having a pair of reel flanges on each end thereof that requires no fasteners. The core halves and reel flanges are constructed and arranged to connect without the need for fasteners to form an improved reel assembly for receipt of a flexible hose. The halves include a plurality of radially extending cross-braces having a conical cross-section. On opposite ends of each half is included a pair of radially extending tubular members having a hollow body and conical cross-section. Each half has opposite reciprocating cross-braces that interlock, as well as opposite reciprocating tubular members that insert within each other to create a strong connection between the halves. The improved reel assembly creates a stronger reel core structure that resists crushing of the reel and separation between the reel halves from a pressurized hose wound thereon.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a storage box or container which is formed from a combination of wood and resin or plastic components. The front, back, and sides of the storage box are preferably set into a channel on a base of the container. A circumferential member is secured to the top portions of the front, back, and sides of the storage box to retain these members in alignment. A top member is hingedly secured to the circumferential member, which enables ready access into the storage box. The storage box is formed from components which are capable of being packaged and shipped in a knocked-down state and constructed into a storage box on site, thereby saving shipping space and costs.
