At least one of a first current sensor is operatively connected to detect current in the first DC feeder and/or a second current sensor is operatively connected to detect current in the second DC feeder. A controller is configured to monitor for changes in common mode current based on the input from the at least one current sensor, and to determine presence of a fault if change in the common mode current exceeds a predetermined threshold.

The second viscosity can be higher than the first viscosity and the second thermal conductivity is higher than the first thermal conductivity. The second potting material can be disposed on each of the end connections to provide increased thermal conductivity from the end connections.
