    Abstract: The present invention is a composite material containing a mix of dosimeter material powder and a polymer powder wherein the polymer is transparent to the photons of wavelengths absorbed by the dosimeter material powder. The present method includes a method of interrogation that is substantially independent of dose rate and temperature. Interrogation is done with spectrophotometric measurements using ultraviolet or visible light.
