  • Patent number: 8159164
Abstract: A variable-delay-time control system for a motor is provided. The system includes a control unit, a driving unit, and a motor. The control unit is used to output at least one control signal according to at least one predetermined signal, and the control signal has a variable delay time. The driving unit is connected to the control unit, and is used to receive the control signal and generate a driving signal. The motor is connected to the driving unit, and conduction time of the motor is controlled according to the driving signal and the variable delay time. With the variable-delay-time control system of the present invention, the delay time of the control signal is variable, so the motor can operate at a high efficiency (for example, at a reduced current). Moreover, as the variable-delay time can be adjusted according to the predetermined signal, the motor can operate at a high efficiency in different operating states, thus improving the overall efficiency of the motor.

  • Patent number: 8123392
Abstract: A linear light guiding module is provided, which includes a linear light guiding body, a plurality of light emitting bodies, a plurality of heat sinks, and a plurality of fans. With the linear light guiding body, the light emitting bodies, and the heat sinks linearly arranged, or with the fans further integrated, the linear light guiding module of the present invention has a small size and an effective heat-dissipation effect. Since only one linear light guiding module needs to be disposed on one side of a light guide plate, the linear light guiding module can be used in large-sized liquid crystal display panels. Moreover, the number of the linear light guiding modules used is decreased while the requirements for high brightness and brightness uniformity can still be met, so the cost can be reduced.

  • Patent number: 8109713
Abstract: A heat-dissipating fan includes a housing, a stator, a rotor and at least one retaining member. The stator and rotor are received inside the housing. The rotor includes an impeller having a plurality of blades. The at least one retaining member is removably mounted to the housing and includes a retaining plate. In an axial direction of the rotor, the retaining plate extends to be above and within a rotational area of the blades to retain the rotor to avoid departure of the rotor from the housing, even if the heat-dissipating fan is hit hard while it is packed, moved, transported or operating. Besides, the arrangement of the retaining member won't result in reduction of air input. Consequently, the retaining member can be quickly mounted to the housing at a predetermined position to enhance convenience of assembly.

  • Patent number: 8105027
Abstract: A housing for an axial-flow fan includes a frame, a seat and a plurality of stationary blades. The frame has an air inlet and an air outlet. The seat is received in the frame and at a position where the air outlet is formed. Two ends of each stationary blade are respectively fixed to an outer periphery of the seat and an inner periphery of the frame. Furthermore, extending directions of any two adjacent stationary blades jointly define an included angle, and all of the included angles formed by all of the stationary blades are of more than two values in degrees, so that the stationary blades are not spaced with equal intervals. Consequently, while sucked air passes by the stationary blades, noises with the same tone can be suppressed effectively.
