Patents Assigned to Superfos Emballage
  • Patent number: 5363979
Abstract: A circular container for storage and transport of paint and solvents is made of a resiliently deformable plastic material and includes a side wall which defines first and second portions above an external flange, the first and second portions being separated by a folding and bending arrangement. The second wall portion is bendable outwardly and downwardly relative to the first wall portion. A bag of propylene or PET is positioned in the container and an upper portion thereof is folded around the second wall portion and is held in place by ring tension generated when the free edge of the second wall portion is bent to abut an upper edge of the flange.

  • Patent number: 4507821
Abstract: A handle (1) for use on a bucket of plastic material and a fastening knob (2) are integrally moulded and interconnected by a moulded fin (4). The fastening knob (2) has a head (5), an elastically resilient flange (6) slanting outwards, and a shank (7). When the handle is to be attached to a bucket, the free end of shank (7) is connected to the bucket wall, preferably by ultrasonic welding, and handle (1) is pressed towards the wall. Head (5) is pressed through an aperture (3) in the handle to pivotably mount the handle on the shank (7), with flange (6) acting as a barb-like anchoring member preventing the handle from falling off. Simultaneous moulding of the handle and the fastening knob renders the use of lateral core removing openings superfluous and simplifies mounting of the handle and the knob.

  • Patent number: 4240554
Abstract: An open container which is nestable with an underlying similar container and which is provided with wedge members and one or more locking members. Each locking member on the overlying container, in response to a relative rotation of the two nested containers, will engage and ride upon a guide surface of a corresponding wedge member of the underlying container until such locking member comes into engagement with an abutment surface of such wedge member, to secure the containers in a relative angular position established thereby. Subsequent similar containers may be stacked, nested one in another, and in a similar manner, be secured in a common angular orientation.

  • Patent number: 4231486
Abstract: The inventive container seal comprises a cover (4) and a rim ring (3) die cast as a unit. In said unit the cover (4) and the rim ring (3) are mutually connected by a radial ring rib (10), said ring rib forming an area of fracture, which is ruptured when the cover is pressed down into the rim ring. At the same time or later the rim ring (3) can be pressed into the mouth (2) of a container. The rim ring (3) is reinforcing the container wall so that an outer stiffening bead is superfluous.
