    Abstract: The invention provides for devices and methods for detecting an organism causing a urinary tract infection. In a preferred embodiment, detecting the organism causing a urinary tract infection follows a preliminary indication of a urinary tract infection by a urinary monitoring device to monitor for the presence or absence of markers indicative of a urinary tract infection. The invention also provides for methods of using such devices.
