Abstract: The apparatus is an assembly jig for constructing prefabricated concrete wall sections. Two parallel elongated "L" cross section members, each with an outer vertical wall, are connected to a base structure with pivots, and several separated sections of inner vertical walls are attached by pivots at the edge of the base of each "L" to form parallel channel molds with spaces in the inner walls to receive prefabricated concrete studs. The wall is constructed by placing concrete studs and insulation sheets between the channels, and pouring concrete into the channel molds and over the studs and insulation sheets. The "L" members are pivoted down to release the hardened concrete beam which has been formed within each mold and thereby facilitate removal of the finished wall section from the assembly jig.
Abstract: A method of constructing a wall by casting concrete within a horizontal frame which surrounds "U" shaped stud forms, which will determine vertical studs, and support members, which will determine top and bottom horizontal members. Before filling the frame with concrete the spaces between the stud forms and the support members are filled with insulating panels which are supported on the edges of the stud molds. Also before pouring the concrete, reinforcing rods may be placed in the stud molds and support members, and the reinforcing rods connected together to form an integrated reinforcing structure.
Abstract: A prefabricated concrete wall structure with an integrated, interconnected reinforcing structure within its various structural members. Each vertical stud and horizontal beam is formed with at least one reinforcing rod within it, and each reinforcing rod is connected to the reinforcing rods in abutting members. The wall section attachment fixture is also connected to the reinforcing rod in the structural member in which it is housed so that the integration of reinforcement is continued from section to section as the attachment fixtures are bolted together.
Abstract: A new method of construction for concrete wall structures. Precast concrete studs with fasteners protruding from one edge are used to build the framework of the walls while oriented in a horizontal plane, rigid sheet insulation is attached to the outside of the concrete studs, and wire mesh is laid upon the sheet insulation. Concrete is then poured onto the insulation, the wire and the protruding fasteners to form a continuous waterproof outer surface. New top and bottom beams which are bonded to the concrete studs are formed at the same time as the outer concrete surface. After setting of the concrete, the wall is one integral concrete structure which may be transported to a construction site for erection.
