Abstract: A cage for a down-hole valve for a hydrocarbon well has no internal guides for directing a ball as it travels from a closed position in which the ball is disposed against a ball seat to an open position where the ball is urged against a ball stop structure. The cage has an internal conical profile which inhibits ball sticking, reduces ball lift acceleration, and allows for a full-open flow area through the cage.

Abstract: A set of stackable, planar shims is provided, with each shim having a series of projections on the top surface and corresponding recesses on the bottom surface, wherein the projections overlay the recesses. Each shim may be characterized by a bisecting line, with the series of projections and recesses being a reverse image of each other, on either side of the bisecting line. Notches in opposite corners of the shims facilitate aligning the shims in an interlocking arrangement, regardless of which surfaces of the shims are pressed into contact. The projections on the surface of the shim can be arranged to create a barrier to shear forces that are perpendicular to the sides of the shim and diagonal to the sides of the shim.

Abstract: A downhole separator separates solids from an inflow of downhole fluid resulting in a cleansed fluid which is directed to the intake of a subsurface pump. The downhole separator has a separator unit which has a sleeve member with a liner member disposed within the sleeve member, the liner member having an exterior surface immediately adjacent the inner surface of the sleeve member. The sleeve member has an opening which is aligned with an opening in the sleeve liner to form an inlet. A vortex guide is disposed inside an inner surface of the liner member. The vortex guide has a helical exterior which is in engaging contact of the inner surface, wherein a single helical passage is formed which extends from the inlet to a second end of the vortex guide.

Abstract: A door lock assembly with interchangeable lock cylinders is described. The door lock assembly includes a handle. The handle includes a lock cylinder passage to receive a push to lock cylinder or a key to lock cylinder. A spring plate includes a bolt opening to position the lock cylinder. The spring plate further includes a side bolt opening. A side bolt is configured to selectively enter the side bolt opening of the spring plate to lock the lock cylinder and to selectively withdraw the side bolt from the side bolt opening of the spring plate to unlock the lock cylinder.

Abstract: A flange belt has a flexible belt with a flexible metal insert sheathed within it that allows the flange belt to conform to a flanged joint when the flange belt is wrapped around it. The flexible belt has a first longitudinal channel and a second longitudinal channel. A first band and a second band are sized to fit within the first longitudinal channel and the second longitudinal channel, respectively. The first band and the second band are used to hold the flexible belt on the flanged joint.

Abstract: A system for signaling an overload of a foam mattress, including a foam mattress having a plurality of conductive inserts located near a bottom surface and a contact pad positioned below the bottom surface of the mattress. The system may generate an overload alarm signal as a function of receiving one or more signal outputs from the sensor over a period of time. The system may also generate an overload alarm signal as a function of receiving a plurality of individual signal outputs from a plurality of one or more conductive inserts located within a predetermined area of the sensor.

Abstract: A method of creating a stand-off between insulation and chime on a storage tank is provided. A plurality of tank chime spacers are positioned in space relation to each other such that the bottom of the tank chime spacer is positioned on the tank chime and one of the peripheral side walls of the tank chime spacer is positioned adjacent to the sidewalls of the storage tank to create a gap between the tank chime and the sidewalls of the storage tank. Each of the tank chime spacers has a body with a top, a bottom and peripheral side walls.

Abstract: This document also discloses a member for mounting a toothbrush head to an electric toothbrush. The member includes a base having an opening for receiving a drive shaft of an electric toothbrush. The member also includes a coupling section that includes a cylindrical sidewall that surrounds a cavity for receiving the drive shaft. The member includes a spring in the coupling section. The spring is positioned to transfer vibration from the drive shaft to the toothbrush head when operated.

Abstract: A shutter is provided. First and second side rails have cavities running in a direction from top to bottom, each cavity having an opening along a lateral side. A plurality of pairs of slat supports are present, each pair having a slat support mounted in the cavity of the first rail and mounted in the cavity of the second rail. Each slat support has a first section and a second section. The first section has a shape to slide into one of the cavities, and to stack and nest with an adjacent first section of another slat support in the one of the cavities. The second section protrudes through the opening of the one of the cavities. A plurality of slats are present, each slat being mounted on the second sections of one of the pairs of slat supports.

Abstract: An inflatable compression wrap comprises two sheet members, two bonding wires and a surrounding pattern. The sheet members are connected from each other through the surrounding pattern and the bonding wires, so that a plurality of latitudinal air chambers are formed between the sheet members. Wherein a plurality of first airbag sections and at least one second airbag section are alternately arranged in the odd sequence of the latitudinal air chambers, and at least one first airbag sections and a plurality of second airbag sections are alternately arranged in the even sequence of the latitudinal air chambers; so that the first and the second airbag sections are alternately arranged along the latitudinal direction and a longitudinal direction. When the latitudinal air chambers are inflated, the different compression forces are respectively generated by the first and second airbag section of the latitudinal air chamber to improve the blood circulation of the patient.

Abstract: An inflating pump includes an enclosure having an exterior shell and an enclosing wall located in the exterior shell and enclosing an airflow passage, and a discharge space formed between the exterior shell and the enclosing wall; an air blower connected to the enclosing wall; two air delivery pipes; and an airflow switching mechanism including a fixed seat having a plurality of chambers separately communicable with the airflow passage, the discharge space, the air blower and the two air delivery pipe, and a turnable member being turnable relative to the fixed seat for some of the chambers to communicate with one another to allow airflow pushed out from the air blower to flow through the airflow passage, the discharge space or the two air delivery pipes. Therefore, the inflating pump can inflate and deflate an inflatable air bed when the air blower constantly produces airflow in the same direction.
