Abstract: A system maintains a first computer using a second computer and a central computer by: receiving a request for maintenance from a first computer; opening first and second secured connections to the first and second computers through the central computer; transferring a request for data from the second computer; storing data and a destination instruction sent from the second computer in a central computer buffer; and forwarding the buffered data to the first computer.

Abstract: A computer implemented system analyzes an application state by determining entities which provide predetermined functionalities for a user determining items that depend from the determined entities, grouping entities by pruning overlapping entities and combining similar entities, and packaging the group of entities using a predetermined format. The system provides automatic relationship resolution based on a current machine state to enumerate in a deterministic manner fundamental data, metadata and dependencies necessary for correct application function. In addition, state information is stored in a persistent format to be used in a variety of applications, including installation, synchonization, backup, recovery, analysis, and repair.
Abstract: A system and method for automatically categorizing and characterizing data from a computer-based system is provided in which the data is classified based on information within the data in order to permit a user of the system to easily group similar incidents within software code based on various criteria and the contents of the data in the incident report. The system may also automatically attempt to recreate any incident indicated by the data. The system may also permit the user of the system to debug a software application whereby parameters that characterize an incident are correlated.
Abstract: A computer-implemented vault centrally archives an application from a client. Each application may be formed from one or more files, and each application has a unique meta description for reconstructing the application using the one or more files. The vault has one or more files which may be shared among applications; an access controller for allowing the client to retrieve a file from the vault based on the meta description; and a post controller for allowing the client to store a single instance of a uniquely indexed file based on the meta description.
