    Abstract: An apparatus for providing access to a computer via two or more alternative keyboard/monitor pairs. The invention comprises a switching box connected between the keyboard/monitor pairs and the computer for switching access between the keyboard/monitor pairs. Access is switched by depressing a key on the keyboard which a user wants to use. An automatic toggling function is executed which switches control to the keyboard upon which a key has been depressed.
