  • Patent number: 11373468
Abstract: A method and system allow management of access to a door using a beacon signal. A user access authority determination unit controls access of a user to a target door based beacon data from beacons installed near a door. The user carries a terminal that obtains the beacon data based on a proximity to the beacons. The method includes identifying the target door based on identification information of the beacons extracted from the beacon data. A type of user movement is determined. The type of user movement includes an entering movement that the user enters into an inner side from an outer side through the target door and an exiting movement that the user exits the inner side to the outer side through the target door. An access authentication process to be performed to unlock the target door is determined according to the determined type of user movement.

  • Publication number: 20220164563
Abstract: A method for acquiring a fingerprint image through a fingerprint image acquisition apparatus is provided. The method includes recognizing a finger of an user through a sensor included in the apparatus to generate an initial input fingerprint image when the finger contacts with a biometric recognition area of the display unit, acquiring a converted fingerprint image by converting the initial input fingerprint image in a pre-determined manner to reveal a characteristic of a pattern, included within the initial input fingerprint image, corresponding to a pattern signal reflected from at least a part of the display unit. The method further includes selecting a pattern removal fingerprint image, if a learned pattern image is stored in a memory, from the learned pattern image based on similarity. The similarity is calculated between the converted fingerprint image and a converted reference image.

  • Patent number: 10586030
Abstract: There is provided a fingerprint authentication method. The method includes a first step of acquiring measurement data for a part of a fingerprint, a second step of calculating a matching rate by comparing the measurement data with at least one of a plurality of registration data, a third step of determining whether the matching rate is equal to or greater than a threshold and whether the measurement data has been previously processed for an authentication, a fourth step of calculating a security level accumulation value based on a result of the third step, and a fifth step of determining whether the security level accumulation value is equal to or greater than a threshold. If NO in the fifth step, processes of the first to fifth steps are repeated. If YES in the fifth step, a success of the authentication is determined and outputted.
