Patents Assigned to Sure Power, Inc.
  • Patent number: 7573155
Abstract: Systems and methods for adjusting outputs of dynamoelectric devices, such as alternators, are provided. The outputs of the dynamoelectric devices may be balanced to facilitate load sharing among the devices. The outputs may be balanced by monitoring field signals associated with the dynamoelectric devices and controlling the field voltages of the devices. The outputs may also be adjusted to supply the load in dissimilar proportions.

  • Patent number: 5013991
Abstract: A silicon controlled rectifier is connected between the output of each stator winding of a conventional alternator and a terminal of a lower voltage battery, and a control electrode of each silicon control rectifier is connected to a switching control circuit for switching the silicon control rectifiers to switch stator current alternatively to a lower voltage battery or to a higher voltage battery connected across the alternator stator. A voltage regulator is connected between the alternator field coil and the lower and higher voltage batteries.

  • Patent number: 4949028
Abstract: A multiple battery source of multiple voltages is connected to the input of a switching regulator in which the currents sourced by inverting and non-inverting inputs are compared for balance, and when the imbalance is generated by external circuitry and "error" current is detected by the comparator circuit which thereupon provides an electrical output correction signal to the switching circuitry to correct the imbalance.
