Publication number: 20180070836Abstract: In some embodiments, a device to measure a shape of cyclic variation of heart rate (CVHR) comprises a processor to detect CVHR from time series data of cardiac or pulse wave inter-beat interval, heart rate, or pulse rate; acquire at least one shape property index with respect to a waveform of the detected CVHR; and evaluate health risk based on the at least one shape property index. The CVHR appears periodically in the time series data. The at least one shape property index is selected from the group consisting of an amplitude of the CVHR (ACV), a slope, a ratio of the ACV to a duration, and an area. The health risk is inversely correlated with an intensity of a heart rate response determined from the at least one shape property index.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 5, 2016Publication date: March 15, 2018Applicants: Public University Corporation Nagoya City University, SUZUKEN CO., LTD.Inventor: Junichiro HAYANO

Patent number: 9227018Abstract: A prefilled syringe of a before-use mixing type not requiring a bypass portion defined by a recessed inner surface portion of an outer cylinder, including first and second gaskets (4,5) fitted in the outer cylinder (2), and non-rotatively and complementarily shaped engagement portions (12, 13) respectively at a front end of the first gasket (4) and a rear end of the second gasket (5) to reduce the period for transferring a liquid between two chambers separated by the gaskets. During storage, the engagement portions abut each other to be kept out of engagement with each other, whereby a drug containing space is defined between the gaskets. When a liquid is transferred from a space defined on a rear side of the first gasket (4) to the drug containing space, the internal pressure of the drug containing space is prevented from being excessively increased.Type: GrantFiled: April 14, 2013Date of Patent: January 5, 2016Assignees: Taisei Kako Co. Publication number: 20140135707Abstract: Provided is a very safe pre-filled syringe that reduces the time and efforts required in administering the injection. In the pre-filled syringe, a needle unit attached to a vial includes: a substantially columnar retaining member with needles at both ends; a holder member holding the retaining member with three pillar-shaped parts; and a holder member holding the retaining member with three pillar-shaped parts and having an attachment portion for the vial. The needle unit is axially retractable when the pillar-shaped parts are alternately arranged in the circumferential direction, and is not axially retractable when distal end surfaces of the pillar-shaped parts in one holder member face distal end surfaces of the pillar-shaped parts in the other holder member. Axially retracting the needle unit makes an injection needle project, and makes a perforation needle project inside the vial.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 11, 2012Publication date: May 15, 2014Applicants: TAISEI KAKO CO., LTD., SUZUKEN CO., LTD.Inventors: Ichiro Suzuki, Yukihiro Ogawa

Publication number: 20070299471Abstract: A body-worn electrode apparatus 10 includes electrodes 1, 2 and 3 to be worn on the surface of a body, and a wiring 5 connected to the electrodes. At least a part of the wiring 5 includes a base material film 11 having a split induction part 13 capable of being split by hand, and a circuit 14 formed on a surface of the base material film into a shape so as to detour around the split induction part 13. The wiring 5 and the circuit 14 can be extended by spliting the split induction part 13.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 2, 2004Publication date: December 27, 2007Applicant: SUZUKEN CO., LTD.Inventors: Hisanori Takahashi, Hideo Sato, Yoshio Funakoshi, Masayuki Konno, Hideki Okada, Tomoo Nakagawa

Publication number: 20060064325Abstract: So that health management advice is effective, the present invention effectively processes data that was obtained using a measuring device, and presents useful information for health management. For this purpose, a measuring device 10 measures movement of a subject using an acceleration sensor 104, stores activity data in a storage part 114, stores identification information specifying the subject in an identification information storage part 118, and transmits the stored activity data and the identification information to a data processing device 20. A medical examination result database 30 is connected with the data processing device 20, and medical examination result data history is correlated with the identification information of the subject and is stored.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 30, 2003Publication date: March 23, 2006Applicant: Suzuken Co., LtdInventors: Masayo Matsumoto, Koji Ota, Yukihiko Ogihara, Kikuto Tanaka, Masateru Yoshida, Yoshiro Moriguchi
