The coating system includes a digital printed coating layer applied to the substrate and a clear coating layer applied over the digital printed coating layer. The digital printed coating layer is applied using a jet process and the inks used are inorganic inks. The described multilayer coating system demonstrates a color change (?E) of no more than 5 units.
