Abstract: A mobile communication device, the device comprising: a memory; an encryption module for encrypting data using an encryption key; a first communication channel configured to transfer the encryption key from the mobile communication device to a separate terminal; and a second communication channel for transferring payment details stored in the memory from the mobile communication device to the separate terminal, which payment details are encrypted using the encryption key; and wherein the first communication channel is different to the second communication channel.
