Abstract: A method for obtaining information on a product (1), said method comprising the following steps: the product (1) is marked with several codes (100, 101) that are stored in one or several RFID tags (11, 11?); at least one of said codes is read contactlessly by means of an RFID reader device (2); said reader device (2) sends a set of one or several read codes to a name service server (6) over a telecommunication network (4); said name service server (6) answers with the address of one or several hypertext pages; and the sought information (7) is accessed by means of said hypertext pages. The invention is characterized in that not all codes (100, 101) read by the RFID reader device are contained in the set sent, and in that the code or codes (100, 101) contained in said set are selected in said reader device (2).
Abstract: The invention relates to a telecommunication method and a system suitable for same for establishing a connection with a mobile station, for example a GSM mobile telephone, of a subscriber located in a visited public land mobile network. According to said method the calling mobile subscriber in the visited public land mobile network prepares a short message, for example an unstructured supplementary service data message with the desired destination number and sends said message, which is then transmitted to a callback computer which establishes a connection between the calling mobile subscriber and the desired destination number. A connection to a called mobile subscriber in a visited public land mobile network is established by a callback computer whose number is assigned to the called mobile subscriber in the home location register.

The security module (1) comprises a locking module (12), for disabling usability of an application module (11), an unlocking module (13), for re-enabling usability of the application module (11), and a control module (14) for activating the unlocking module (13), depending on received data that is assignable in an authenticated way to a specific telecommunications network (2). The control module (14) is configured to activate the locking module (12) depending on the selection and usage of the application module (11). The control module (14) is configured to activate the unlocking module (12) depending on the reception of authorization messages, that can be authenticated, or authentication data of the telecommunications network (2).
Abstract: A computer-based system for dynamic assignment of carrier frequencies to computerized access points of a wireless local area network (WLA) is connected to the access points via a communication connection. Present operational values, such as the present number of associated users and the present number of received faulty and errorless data packets, are captured from the access points via the communication connection by autonomous agent modules of the computer-based system. In the computer-based system, individual weighting factors for the access points are calculated, based on the captured operational values. Access point data about the access points, which include present carrier frequencies and weighting factors, are stored in the computer-based system.

Abstract: For transmitting video data from a central unit (1) via a mobile radio network (2) to a mobile terminal (3) having a display unit (32), determined is the gaze direction of a user of the display unit (32) by means of a gaze direction determination module (322) of the display unit (32). The gaze direction is transmitted by the terminal (3) via the mobile radio network (2) to the central unit (1). Based on the gaze direction, the central unit (1) determines position-dependent correlation threshold values. Moreover, the central unit (1) generates bit matrices that identify correlating picture elements having correlating picture element values, the correlating picture elements being determined dependent on the correlation threshold values. The bit matrices are transmitted together with the video data, one respective common data element, having a common picture element value, being transmitted for correlating picture elements.
Abstract: In order to check the authorization of passengers, the following steps are performed: storing of authorization data, for example of tickets, in an electronic storage area of a portable personal identification module (40) of the user, for example in a chip-card, storing of identification data that are specific to the user's outer appearance in an electronic storage area of the personal identification module (40), contactless transmission of said identification and authorization data in a portable authorization-checking device (90), visual reproduction of said identification and authorization data with a VRD (Virtual Retina Display).
Abstract: The present invention concerns a method and a system for establishing a dynamic peer-to-peer communications channel between a first terminal and a second terminal. A first terminal and a second terminal are connectable over secured communications channels to a secured network. The first terminal sends a connection request for establishing a communications channel between the terminals. The connection request is analyzed by an analyzer module. Based on network parameters of the terminals, the analyzer module searches for a further network, and establishes a peer-to-peer communications channel over this further network. Security of the peer-to-peer communications channel may be maintained by means of a central unit of the secured network.
Abstract: Method with which users (1) enter instructions, in which said instructions are entered with sequences of voluntary movements of eye parts, the sequence required for entering a certain instruction being individual for each user.
Abstract: A method and system for ordering, loading, and using admission tickets for access to access-controlled service devices, in which admission tickets are ordered from a reservation center through transmission of order data by an order channel. The order data includes the call number of a mobile communications terminal to which the ordered admission tickets are transmitted by a mobile network and are stored there in a memory module. The data exchange between this memory module and a reading device of the service device takes place over a contactless interface. Decisions about the access authorization of the user of the communications terminal are made, for example, in the reading device or in the communications terminal, taking into account the ticket information contained in the admission ticket, for example, limited to a digitally signed ticket number or with indications about the respective service device.
Abstract: A system for games, with the following features: a mobile radio network, at least a mobile telephone as game terminal with an interface for the mobile radio network and at least one gaming application, said game terminal having a portable personal identification module, an advertising content server system for broadcasting advertising contents separately from the gaming application over said mobile radio network to said game terminal, said gaming application being programmed in such a manner that said advertising contents are reproduced in the game to the player during a game. The gaming application is programmed in such a manner that products or components advertised during the game can be ordered over said mobile radio network.
Abstract: The portable radio receiver (4) with which programs of a central radio sender (1) can be received comprises an identification module (40) in which user-specific data are stored as well as a contactless interface (41) over which a radio connection can be established with external devices at close range in order to send said user-specific data to these external devices. Application: for example as identification module for public transportation.
Abstract: Method for the transmission and reproduction of image data in which image data are transmitted to a communication terminal and reproduced the current viewing direction of the communication terminal's user being determined. First image data are transmitted with a low resolution over a first transmission channel, for example a DVB, whilst second image data corresponding to the image areas viewed currently or in future by the user are transmitted with a higher resolution over a second transmission channel. The first and second image data are superimposed and simultaneously reproduced in the communication terminal.

Abstract: A method for limited-access receiving of data is disclosed. In a remote server (5), data for decoding user data are encrypted with the first key, which has been generated on the basis of the user's biometric or key data derived therefrom, and sent as program-accompanying data through a broadcast system. In a terminal (1) of the user, the information received through the broadcast system are decrypted with the second key, that has also been generated on the basis of the user's biometric or key data derived therefrom. The user data are decoded with the received decrypted data for decoding user data and the received user data can be reproduced. The present invention also relates to the remote server (5) and the terminal (1).
Abstract: A method for reproducing the image of a person is disclosed. According to the invention, an image of a person or of part of a person is recorded with an image recording sensor (1.5) and the recorded image is immediately afterwards projected in modified or unchanged form with a Virtual Retinal Display (1.1) directly onto the retina (2.1) of the person. The invention also relates to a Virtual Retinal Display (1.1) for reproducing the image of a person, wherein an image recording sensor (1.5) and the Virtual Retinal Display (1.1) are connected with an electronic analysis unit (1.2) for analyzing and modifying a recorded image.
