Abstract: The invention relates to an X-ray device (1) provided with a column (2) and an arm which is upwardly (3) displaceable therealong and on which at least one X-ray picture detector (4) and/or an X-ray transmitter (5) are mounted. A receiving means (6) arranged on the column is used for receiving a picture carrier (7) on the plane part (8). Preferably, said receiving means is embodied in the form of a support for interchangeably receiving the picture carrier in such a way that large-surface images are placeable on the column without affecting the arm operation.
