Abstract: An Internet advertising system has a database, a controller, and an ad server operating as part of a web server. The database has advertising campaign information, including identification information and frequency information for how often the ad is to be served. The ad server uses the campaign information from the database to control the relative ratios of serving ads, the distribution of ads throughout the day, and any triggering mechanisms for controlling what ads are served.
Abstract: A directory service has a number of databases and a processing system with a number of processors. A first processor receives requests and passes them to one of a number of other processors to access one of the databases. The service has a firewall and a monitor outside the firewall for randomly generating names to access the database. A configuration manager communicates with applications in the database and processors and with a directory to cause applications to reconfigure in response to certain events.

Abstract: A vacuum circuit breaker comprises an interrupter for each phase of a three phase electrical system. Each interrupter includes a cylindrical housing for containing circuit breaker contacts. The axes of the housings are vertically disposed and are arranged to define an equilateral triangle. Projecting radially outward from each housing in fixed relation thereto is a rigid fixed contact bus bar connection link and a rigid movable contact bus bar connection link. Ends of the fixed contact bus bar connection links are disposed in a parallel relation in a horizontal plane. Ends of the movable contact bus bar connection links are disposed in a parallel relation in a horizontal plane. Associated pairs of fixed and movable contact bus bar connection links for each interrupter are disposed in vertical alignment.
Abstract: Latch means (19) for locking a cover (10,110) on a meter box (11,111) against unauthorized opening and having a latch bar (32) slidably mounted on the inner surface of the cover behind an access opening (18,118) therein, said latch bar extending behind a flange (21,121) on the box when the cover is closed. The latch bar (32) has a cam portion 34 to ride over the flange (21,121) during closing of the cover and has an indentation forming a shoulder (38) adapted to be engaged by an implement (40) inserted through access opening (18,118) to raise the latch bar (32) and open the cover (10,110).
