Patent number: 4491076Abstract: A plastic rack or cube, for supporting and translating load units therein, having side walls and end walls formed of a plurality of unitary integrally formed molded panel units connected together at lateral tabs and tab receiving sections, the lateral ends of the walls being connected to corner posts and forming a rectilinear cube-type frame open at its top and bottom. A supporting and nesting member is removably attachable to the inner surfaces of the end walls to hold the load units therebetween. The components of the nesting members can be integrally formed and molded in and with the panel units. One or more medial or intermediate wall units can be removably attached transversely to and between side wall or end wall panel units to provide a plurality of chambers for reception of the load units, supplementary nesting members being attachable to these intermediate walls.Type: GrantFiled: July 6, 1982Date of Patent: January 1, 1985Assignee: Formall Syn-Trac Systems, Inc.Inventor: David J. Patent number: 4484525Abstract: A plastic conveyor trolley for an inverted T-bar monorail conveyor track is provided. The conveyor trolley comprises a pair of upper track-supported wheels and pairs of lower wheels engageable with and rotatable at times upon the underside surfaces of the track, the upper wheels being rotatably mounted on stub axles secured to the upper portions of the trolley arms, the lower wheels being rotatably mounted on bearing portions integrally formed in intermediate portions of the trolley arms, and a pendant member secured to and between the lower portions of the trolley arms. The lower wheels lie in a plane below and substantially parallel with the plane of the upper wheels.Type: GrantFiled: July 6, 1982Date of Patent: November 27, 1984Assignee: Formall Syn-Trac Systems, Inc.Inventors: David J. Forshee, James S. Salloum

Patent number: 4471867Abstract: A monorail conveyor system having an inverted plastic T-bar monorail track suspended from supporting structural members conjoined by conventional bolt and nut fasteners, a plurality of plastic conveyor trolleys operatively movable on the T-bar monorail by a drive chain comprising a plurality of plastic chain links articulatedly connected together, the drive chain being driven by conventional conveyor drive chain power mechanism. Each plastic T-bar monorail track section comprises an upstanding stem having a laterally extending pendant lobe on each side thereof and a pair of laterally outwardly directed flanges at the distal end of said stem for both horizontal and inclined travel of the conveyor trolleys.Type: GrantFiled: July 6, 1982Date of Patent: September 18, 1984Assignee: Formall Syn-Trac Systems, Inc.Inventor: David J. Forshee

Patent number: 4467911Abstract: A two-piece plastic clevis device for a monorail conveyor trolley system, the device having an upper trolley connected member and a manually engageable and disengageable lower clevis member which is connected to and supports a parts carrying hanger. The upper clevis member has a flanged member on each side of a medial plate or stem, the lower member having a pair of spaced apart hub-supported arcuate bodies that engage the flanged members on each side of the medial plate and suspend the hanger at and from the surfaces of engagement.Type: GrantFiled: July 14, 1982Date of Patent: August 28, 1984Assignee: Formall Syn-Trac Systems, Inc.Inventor: David J. Patent number: 4433627Abstract: A plastic conveyor trolley structure having plastic bearings and made of a super tough plastic material, comprises a pair of complementary arms each supporting a wheel for rotation on roller bearings held in a fixed inner race forming an integral part of a stub axle on which the trolley wheel is rotatable. The trolley is readily movable on the flanges of an I-beam monorail. A pendant member secured to and between the lower ends of the trolley arms is engaged by the conveyor drive chain to move the trolley along on the monorail. Metal screws are used to hold the depending member to the arms and to secure the stub axle for the trolley wheel to its supporting arm.Type: GrantFiled: July 29, 1981Date of Patent: February 28, 1984Assignee: Formall Syn-Trac Systems, Inc.Inventor: David J. Patent number: 4393999Abstract: A pallet to support a component device for processing and testing, the device being removably secured to and upon the pallet for translation from a mounting station through one or more processing or assembly stations and optionally to a testing station, for elevation and lowering at the testing station, and for translation to a repair or discharge station, on conveyor devices moving the pallet by friction drives or other means. The pallet is made substantially entirely of a very tough nylon resin or equivalent plastic material. In one of its preferred forms the pallet comprises a grid body, an upper support plate member, a lower driven plate member and bumper bars on the side edges of the pallet. In a second preferred form the pallet comprises a grid body and an upper support plate member; and in a third form the pallet comprises a unitary molded grid body closed on its bottom side except for drain and bolt openings therethrough. The second preferred form of pallet can also be molded as a unitary device.Type: GrantFiled: December 29, 1980Date of Patent: July 19, 1983Assignee: Syn-Trac Systems Inc.Inventor: David J. Forshee
