    Abstract: A Computer System is designed to meet the needs of individuals with physical disabilities who use battery-powered wheelchairs. To accommodate these individuals' specialized needs, this computer system provides the infrastructure of a standardized Bus in a format that also incorporates specialized features. Providing a standardized Bus allows the use of cards which perform functions which otherwise would need to be met by adding external devices. Use of a standardized Bus also allows for ease of upgrade and repair.
