Abstract: A gripper includes fingers, which are configured to interact with an object. A first mount supports a first finger. A second mount supports a second finger. A support plate supports these mounts. A cam plate is configured to interact with the first mount and the second mount to provide a first arrangement and a second arrangement. When the first and second mounts are in the first arrangement, the gripper is provided with a first distance between the first finger and the second finger when the gripper is in an open position to receive and/or release the object. When the first and second mounts are in the second arrangement, the gripper is provided with a second distance between the first finger and the second finger when the gripper is in the open position. The second distance is greater than the first distance.
