  • Patent number: 5919414
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for providing at least one insertion label on a tool of a machine, the insertion label being insertable into a mold half of a tool of a plastics processing machine, in particular injection molding machine or deep-drawing machine. In this method insertion labels are punched out of label web material by means of a punching device consisting essentially of a punching plate and a cutting tool. The insertion labels are transferred by a carrier, which belongs to the punching device, to the tool of the machine and are discharged for insertion thereinto. So far a great problem has consisted in performing such a transfer in such a manner that the insertion label is positioned in a sufficiently precise manner without creases.

  • Patent number: 5874115
Abstract: The present invention refers to an injection moulding machine including an injection moulding tool which includes at least one female die and one male die. A blow moulding tool is arranged in closely spaced relationship with the injection moulding tool. A transfer member is arranged between the injection moulding tool and the blow moulding tool, the transfer member being used for transferring a preform from the injection moulding tool to the blow moulding tool. The movement of the transfer member is synchronized with the opening and closing movements of the injection moulding tool and of the blow moulding tool in such a way that said transfer member moves into the tool area of the open injection moulding tool, removes the respective preform from the male die or from the female die, moves out of the tool area and introduces the preform into the blow moulding tool that is open to an adequate extent.

  • Patent number: 5520876
Abstract: A process and a device for injection moulding plastic cups having a label-shaped enveloping sheet integrated therein according to the inmould labelling method and comprising the steps of coaxially moving a male mould and a female mould into one another for establishing thus a closed injection mould and injecting then molten plastic through an opening into said injection mould. During the opening and closing movements of the injection mould, a suction holding mandrel is adapted to be moved to a position at which it extends coaxially with the male mould and the female mould, whereupon the whole female mould is divided into a base member maintaining its instantaneous position and an advancable part, which is moved so as to cover part of the suction holding mandrel for picking up the enveloping sheet and holding, it in position by means of a suction force applied through a suction gap and which is then moved back to the base member with which it will recombine so as to establish the complete female mould.

  • Patent number: 5090889
Abstract: An injection blow tool for synthetic plastic injection casting machine has a casting matrix with a plurality of casting molds, an associated matrix movable relative to the casting matrix and provided with mold cores corresponding to the casting molds, the matrix with the mold cores being formed as a turning body, a support supporting the turning body turnable about a turning angle of at least 90.degree. relative to the casting matrix, the support being arranged between the casting matrix and a displaceable blow matrix so that mold cores arranged at a side of the turning body are inserted in the casting molds of the casting matrix and mold cores arranged at the opposite side of the turning body are simultaneously inserted in the blowing molds of the blowing matrix, and simultaneously an injection casting process step and a blowing process step are performed.
