  • Patent number: 9527139
Abstract: A clamping device for machine tools, comprising a chuck (1.1) and a drawbar (1.2) for clamping separate pallets (1.3), with a bayonet-connection via rotational motion of that drawbar (1.2). Rotational motion of the drawbar (1.2) is guided and determined by means (2.5, 2.7, 2.6, 2.4, 2.12, 3) provided in the chuck housing (2.3) interacting with the drawbar (1.2, 2.13). The drawbar (1.2) is turnable mounted in the chuck (1.1) to impede the drawbars extraction out of the chuck, independent if the drawbar (1.2) is in clamping or unclamped condition.

  • Patent number: 8134714
Abstract: The invention provides a method and system for measuring the length of a reflective resonator, by analyzing an electromagnetic spectrum emitted therefrom. The emitted spectrum is used for estimating a first cavity length. This estimation is thereafter improved, by first computing at least one interference number for the spectrum, adjust this value to e.g. an integer or half-integer depending on the configuration of the resonator, and thereafter re-calculating the length of the resonator using the adjusted value of the interference number. The above is an efficient way of improving the accuracy in the determination of a physical property of a resonator.

  • Patent number: 6623015
Abstract: A clamping chuck having a central receptacle and a disk arranged around the receptacle and which may be moved from a clamping position, whereby a draw bar inserted into the receptacle is clamped, to a releasing position wherein a draw bar is released from being clamped. The disk has a locking mechanism including a plurality of locking elements which are equally spaced in a circumferential direction. The draw bar is coupled to a brake such that the braking force of the brake is proportional to a pull on the draw bar. Thus, a high axial load on the draw bar causes a high braking force and a low load results in a low braking force.
