  • Patent number: 6640842
Abstract: In a method and a device for filling needle-free injectors, it is proposed that filling takes place through the injector discharge opening and where the piston stopper has been previously inserted. Filling takes place in such a way that, independently of tolerances of the injector, the interior space is filled to the brim in an at least approximately bubble-free manner. It is not absolutely necessary to measure or dose the liquid to be filled. The filled state is either established through the disappearance of the vacuum in the interior space, or through the piston having reached a specific position during displacement.

  • Patent number: 6634670
Abstract: In a vehicle occupant restraint system there is provided a gas bag having a wall (12) which has portions distributed across its surface area which, with increasing gas bag internal pressure, increase the volume of said gas bag (10) by a deployment or smoothing action. If the internal pressure in the gas bag rises due to increased power output of the gas generator or in case of high temperatures, a limitation of the increase in pressure is achieved by the increase in volume of the gas bag.

  • Patent number: 6634286
Abstract: An engraving element of an electronic engraving machine for engraving printing cylinders as a shaft oscillating with small rotational angles around the longitudinal axis, a restoring element, a shaft bearing, a damping mechanism, a drive for the shaft, a lever-shaped stylus holder attached to the shaft, and an engraving stylus as a cutting tool. For engraving cups, the engraving stylus executes a stroke motion in the direction of a rotating printing cylinder. The engraving element is arranged with respect to the printing cylinder rotating around the rotational axis such that the shaft of the engraving element proceeds substantially parallel to the rotational axis of the printing cylinder, and the stroke motion of the engraving stylus occurs in a plane oriented perpendicular to the rotational axis of the printing cylinder. As a result, a better geometry of the cups is achieved in the engraving.
