Abstract: Apparatuses for controlling fluid flow are important components for delivering process fluids for semiconductor fabrication. These apparatuses for controlling fluid flow frequently rely on valves which can provide flows at different rates and in a minimally turbulent manner. In one embodiment, a valve assembly is disclosed, the valve assembly having a valve body, a closure member, a seat, and a radial flow guide. The radial flow guide has a plurality of flow passages. The closure member has a needle, the needle having a plurality of grooves therein. The resulting valve assembly enables improved control of fluid and reduces turbulence in the resultant flow.

Abstract: A method for performing optimized radio resource management (RRM) in an O-RAN network, includes: performing, at the RRM analytics module, a machine learning-based analysis to determine an optimal resource allocation policy based on at least one performance measurement performed at a distributed unit (DU); receiving, by the DU, the optimal resource allocation policy determined by the RRM; and utilizing, by the DU, the optimal resource allocation policy to one of schedule or not schedule user equipments (UEs). In a given slot and for a given state of the base station, candidate UEs to serve in the slot are selected based on a chosen policy. If the number of selected candidate UEs is higher than the maximum number the base station can serve in that slot, the radio resource management (RRM) module selects, using the chosen policy, the maximum number of UEs, and the selected UEs are allocated resources.

Abstract: Embodiments described herein provide systems and techniques for training large language models. In one aspect, a process for performing in-context few-shot training for a transformer-based language model is disclosed. This process may begin by receiving the transformer-based language model having a context window of a predetermined size, as well as a training dataset comprising a set of prompt/completion examples. The process then constructs a training sequence based on the training dataset. Next, the process performs a single forward pass using the training sequence as input. The process subsequently performs a set of backward passes from a subset of examples in the training sequence, wherein each backward pass is conditioned on a selected subset of prompt/completion examples in the training sequence.
