Abstract: A system and method of operating a carwash with flexible service offerings comprises providing an automated computer terminal at which a user of a vehicle can purchase a car wash and at least one additional service, such as a hand service, after receiving the car wash, determining a queue for the at least one additional service at the time a user purchases a car wash, calculating a price for the at least one additional service based on the queue and displaying the price for the at least one additional service on the automated computer terminal. If the queue for the at least one additional service is low or empty, the user is provided with a discount to incentivize the user to purchase such service.

Abstract: In a system of a computer such as an HPC having one or more motherboards mounted therein, smooth activation is executed. The computer is activated while I/O devices other than the minimum number of I/O devices required for activation of computer are hidden. Subsequently, a BIOS is activated, and a BootLoader is activated. The activated BootLoader restarts the hidden I/O devices, and recognizes the I/O devices can be used by an OS or an application.

Abstract: Described embodiments provide systems and methods for generating visualizations of data based on correlation measures and search history. An analysis engine may access data observed from a data source over time. The analysis engine may determine a variation of each of at least a first metric and a second metric of the data, over time. A correlation engine may determine a correlation measure between the first metric and a second metric, over time. The correlation engine may generate, responsive to the correlation measure being greater than a reference level, a visualization of the first metric and the second metric varying in time, on a device to display to a user.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses for discovering dynamic path maximum transmission unit (PMTU) between a sending computing device and a receiving computing device (e.g., a client device and a host device) are described herein. A sending computing device may iteratively transmit bursts of probe packets, each burst being defined by a search range between a maximum packet size and a minimum packet size. The sending computing device may iteratively update the search range based on the previous iteration until the search converges on the PMTU. When the PMTU is discovered, each of the computing devices may update their transport and presentation layer buffers based on the discovered PMTU without any other protocol level disruption. In a multi-path scenario, the computing device may discover PMTU for each of the paths and select a performance optimal path based on the individual PMTUs and other network characteristics such as loss, latency, and throughput.

Abstract: An oxygen mask container assembly that includes a container that defines a container interior and includes a container opening, an oxygen mask assembly disposed in the container interior, a mask ejector in operative communication with the mask assembly, a cover assembly that is movable between a closed position where the cover assembly covers the container opening and an open position where the mask can be ejected through the container opening and from the container interior, and a latch assembly. The oxygen mask assembly includes a mask and a lanyard. The cover assembly includes a light assembly therein that is configured to shine light below the cover assembly. The latch assembly is configured to move the cover assembly between the closed position and the open position.

Abstract: An illustrative ISCSI server computing device provides user computing devices with “private writable snapshots” of a desired volume of data and/or further provides “private writable backup copies.” The ISCSI service is provided without invoking snapshot limits imposed by storage arrays and further without specialized backup software and pseudo-disk drivers installed on the user computing devices. A user can browse as well as edit personal versions of any number and/or versions of block-level backup copies—the “private writable backup copies.” Likewise, a user can browse and edit personal versions of any number of snapshots of one or more versions of one or more desired data volumes—the “private writable snapshots.” A user can have any number of co-existing private writable snapshots and private writable backup copies. Sparse files, extent-files, software snapshots, and/or media agents co-residing on the ISCSI server are used in the illustrative embodiments.

Abstract: An automated drone-based surface treatment material delivery system includes a drone having a body, at least one propeller rotatably supported by the body, at least one propeller motor supported by the body and configured to selectively apply motive power to the at least one propeller, and a controller supported by the body and configured to control a flight path of the drone at least by manipulating a speed of the at least one propeller. The drone also has a rotary atomizer supported by the body for movement therewith. The rotary atomizer includes a rotating dispersion structure configured to disperse a surface treatment material from a material supply.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method and a device for measuring a radiation pattern of an antenna array. The method includes: obtaining a plurality of array radiation patterns corresponding to a plurality of array elements and a plurality of center positions corresponding to the plurality of array radiation patterns; feeding a preset port excitation to the antenna array; obtaining a plurality of sets of measurement data of the antenna array at a plurality of corresponding measurement points in a far field of the antenna array; obtaining an aperture field excitation based on the plurality of array radiation patterns, the plurality of center positions, positions of the plurality of measurement points and the plurality of sets of measurement data; and obtaining a radiation pattern of the antenna array at a target position based on the aperture field excitation, the plurality of array radiation patterns and the plurality of center positions.

Abstract: Chimeric and other variant ?-glucuronidase enzymes with enhanced properties as compared to unmodified enzyme are provided. The enzymes of the invention advantageously exhibit enhanced enzymatic activity, enhanced substrate range, enhanced pH range, enhanced temperature range and/or enhanced enzyme stability. Methods of using the variant enzymes for hydrolysis of glucuronide substrates, including opiates and benzodiazepines, are also provided.

Abstract: A media management system that generates expected audience of a promo schedule for each promotional campaign planned for an upcoming time-frame, acquires historical data for the promotional campaigns for the time-frame, and generates a plurality of values associated with a promotion impact measure for each of the promotional campaigns based on the acquired historical data and the expected audience. Inventory unit needs are determined for each of the promotional campaigns that corresponds to a promotion inventory utilization of a plurality of inventory utilization types, based on at least the generated plurality of values. The determined inventory units for each of the promotional campaigns are utilized to dynamically allocate inventory from a defined amount of inventory units among each inventory utilization types to meet a plurality of defined parameters for the defined amount of inventory units for one or more specified durations until an end of the upcoming time-frame.

Abstract: A current sensing circuit is provided for measuring a current in an electrical line connecting an electrical supply to a load. The current sensing circuit includes a magnetic circuit having: a magnetic core, a reference winding wound around the magnetic core, and a conductor passing through center of the magnetic core. The conductor is being connected to the electrical line. The current sensing circuit further includes a detection circuit connected to the reference winding of the magnetic circuit. The detection circuit is configured to detect a change in condition of the magnetic core and generate a detection signal in response to determination of the change. Furthermore, the current sensing circuit includes a controller coupled to the detection circuit for receiving the detection signal. The controller measures the current in the electrical line in response to the detection signal from the detection circuit.

Abstract: According to certain aspects, a system includes a client device that includes a virtual machine (VM) executed by a hypervisor, a driver located within the hypervisor, and a data agent. The VM may include a virtual hard disk file and a change block bitmap file. According to some embodiments the driver intercepts write operations generated by the VM to store data in a sector, determines an identity of the sector based on the intercepted write operation, determines an entry in the change block bitmap file that corresponds with the first sector, and modifies the entry in the change block bitmap file to indicate that data in that sector has changed. The data agent may generate an incremental backup of the VM based on the change block bitmap file in response to an instruction from a storage manager, where the incremental backup includes the data in the sector where data was modified.

Abstract: An information management system provides a data deduplication system that uses a primary table, a deduplication chunk table, and a chunk integrity table to ensure that a referenced deduplicated data block is only verified once during the data verification of a backup or other replication operation. The data deduplication system may reduce the computational and storage overhead associated with traditional data verification processes. The primary table, the deduplication chunk table, and the chunk integrity table, all of which may be stored in a deduplication database, can also ensure synchronization between the deduplication database and secondary storage devices.

In some aspects, the methods, compositions, reaction mixtures, kits, and/or systems comprise subjecting the sample to a nucleic acid amplification reaction in a reaction mixture under conditions to yield the complete sequence to the region of the target polynucleotide. In some aspects, the complementary sequence produced is amplified.

Abstract: Systems, devices, articles, methods, and techniques for advancing quantum computing by removing unwanted interactions in one or more quantum processor. One approach includes creating an updated plurality of programmable parameters based at least in part on a received value for the characteristic magnetic susceptibility of the qubit in the at least one quantum processor, and returning the updated plurality of programmable parameters. Examples programmable parameters include local biases, and coupling values characterizing the problem Hamilton.

Abstract: Certain embodiments described herein relate to an improved information management system that can perform platform-agnostic containerized application data protection. In one embodiment, the information management system receives a user's credentials to a container orchestrator along with an indication of whether or not to deploy a backup pod. Using the user credentials, the information management system accesses the container orchestrator, and if the user has requested deployment of a backup pod on the user's cluster, the information management system may do so using a backup pod specification and allow the backup pod to perform data protection operations, using a platform-agnostic interface (e.g., container storage interface), for application data accessible by the user applications on the user's pod on the user's cluster. Alternatively, if the user has not requested deployment of a backup pod, the information management system may perform data protection operations using provider-specific interface.

Abstract: Example embodiments are disclosed for receiving dispensation data corresponding to dispensation of a drug associated with a covered entity, mapping a proprietary code to a standardized drug identification code for the drug, retrieving an audit record based on the standardized code, wherein the audit record identifies an order quantity of the drug ordered by the covered entity using a pricing account, allocating the dispensed quantity of the drug to the audit record up to an amount that equals but does not exceed the order quantity, applying a reorder rule to calculate when to reorder the drug, and subsequent to determining to reorder the drug in response to applying the reorder rule, communicating to a distributor an order message comprising the order quantity and the standardized code of the drug to reorder the drug using the pricing account and for causing the distributor to ship the drug.

Abstract: A projectile 360, 460 includes a body having a distal ogive section with external ballistic effect uniforming surface discontinuity (e.g., nose ring groove 369, 469) defined therein to provide an unsupported gap in the ogive profile which affects the flow of air over the front half of the ogive to provide greater aerodynamic uniformity and shot-to-shot consistency with more uniform observed external ballistics and superior terminal ballistics. The bullet's external surface discontinuity feature (369 or 469) creates effects in the flowfield that dominate any dynamic effects from bullet-to-bullet manufacturing inconsistency and resultant differences in dynamic behavior.

Abstract: A four-fluid bipolar plate for a fuel cell includes an oxidant flow field, a fuel reactant flow field, a dedicated coolant passage, and a water management flow field. The bipolar plate includes at least one porous layer. A first side of the porous layer is fluidly connected to the water management flow field via a plurality of pores that act as a bubble barrier. An opposing second side of the porous layer includes either the fuel reactant flow field or the oxidant flow field. In one example, the dedicated coolant passage is internal to the bipolar plate, and may be configured to flow an antifreeze-type coolant.
