Abstract: Described herein are techniques for synthesizing waves (e.g., audio waveforms) at various frequencies. For example, techniques described herein may be used to render musical notes by generating audio waveforms. According to some embodiments, the techniques generate a wave table for an audio waveform based on a set of partial waveforms. The system determines a set of notes with a corresponding entry in the wave table and determines a set of partials for each note. The system renders, for each note, an associated waveform comprising the associated number of partials for the note from the set of partial waveforms.

Abstract: Spectral machine condition energy peaks are graphically represented in a spectral plot using color coding, different line types, and/or filtering. This allows visual differentiation of spectral peaks associated with various fault frequency families from one another, whereby a machine condition analyst using computer-based analysis software can easily see each family of spectral peaks individually, without all the other spectral peaks, or in combinations of families that are relevant to a machine fault under investigation. In addition to current spectral data, the analyst can also view a historical trend of related scalar parameters plotted in conjunction with current spectral data, wherein the spectral data plot is synchronized with a time-based cursor on the trend plot.

  • Publication number: 20210043352
Abstract: A latch system includes a releasably secured latch or keeper and a solenoid assembly. The solenoid assembly has a solenoid driver coupled to a power supply, a switching circuit connected with the solenoid driver, and a function generator to selectively adjust a frequency of a pick current output from the power supply and provided to the solenoid driver. The frequency is adjusted until the pick current induces a resulting vibration of said latch system sufficient to free a preloaded latch or keeper. The adjusted frequency may be a target frequency or a range of frequencies. Also included may be a preload sensor. When a preload is sensed, the frequency may be adjusted by the function generator until the pick current induces a resulting vibration of said latch system sufficient to free a preloaded latch or keeper.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are multiple-input, multiple-output (MIMO) LiDAR systems in which the fields of view of multiple illuminators (e.g., lasers) overlap and/or fields of view of multiple detectors (e.g., photodiodes) overlap. Some embodiments provide for illuminators that transmit pulse sequences that have substantially white autocorrelation and are substantially uncorrelated so that they can be distinguished from one another when detected by a single detector.

  • Publication number: 20210044978
Abstract: Systems, methods, devices and software for operating particle sampling devices in a user-restrictive manner include a tag and a particle sampling device. The device includes a tag reader and a processor in communication with the tag reader. The processor: receives device configuration data and reads operational and/or user data from the tag having that data encoded thereon. Based on the data read from the tag, the processor may either grant or deny access to a user for performing device operations. Alternatively, for a headless particle sampling device configured for minimal user interaction during operation, the device is removably attached to a supporting structure proximate the tag positioned in or on the supporting structure. In the headless configuration, the processor reads device configuration parameters including network communication information from the tag following device power up.

  • Publication number: 20210042259
Abstract: The technology disclosed partitions a dataflow graph of a high-level program into memory allocations and execution fragments. The memory allocations represent creation of logical memory spaces in on-processor and/or off-processor memories for data required to implement the dataflow graph. The execution fragments represent operations on the data. The technology disclosed designates the memory allocations to virtual memory units and the execution fragments to virtual compute units. The technology disclosed partitions the execution fragments into memory fragments and compute fragments, and assigns the memory fragments to the virtual memory units and the compute fragments to the virtual compute units. The technology disclosed then allocates the virtual memory units to physical memory units and the virtual compute units to physical compute units.

  • Patent number: 10914534
Abstract: Systems according to the present disclosure provide one or more surfaces that function as power radiating surfaces for which at least a portion of the radiating surface includes or is composed of “fractal cells” placed sufficiently closed close together to one another so that a surface wave causes near replication of current present in one fractal cell in an adjacent fractal cell. The fractal cells may lie on a flat or curved sheet or layer and be composed in layers for wide bandwidth or multibandwidth transmission. The area of a surface and its number of fractals determines the gain relative to a single fractal cell. The boundary edges of the surface may be terminated resistively so as to not degrade the cell performance at the edges. Fractal plasmonic surface cards are described.
