Abstract: Disclosed are methods, systems and computer-readable media involving data that associates a computing resource with at least one time slot. Based at least in part on the data and a current time being within the at least one time slot, a device may be caused to display an indication that the computing resource can be accessed using the device. Based at least in part on the data and a current time being outside the at least one time slot, the device may be caused to cease displaying the indication.

Abstract: This invention entails the use of fractal shapes as cores for electromagnets, and a concurrent shape of a fractal for the windings which surround it. The novelty of this invention lies not only with the shaping, but the advantage of such shaping, which includes producing a smaller form factor electromagnet for the same desired magnetic field strength, when compared to a conventional electromagnet. It will be appreciated that a range of devices including electromagnets, based on such fractal shaping, are additionally novel and include but are not limited to solenoid switches, relays, and other devices in which the fractal electromagnets are used to make a change in state of some device.

Abstract: Described embodiments provide systems and methods for data encryption. A server communicating data with a client can determine a level of data encryption on the data that the server is capable of handling according to resources available to the server. A level of data encryption can include a type of encryption and a strength of the type of data encryption. The server can receive a level of data encryption on the data that the client is capable of handling according to resources available to the client. The server can identify a level of data encryption with which the server and the client agree to proceed, according to the determined level of data encryption and the received level of data encryption. The server, following a predefined interval, can identify an updated level of data encryption with which the server and the client agree to proceed.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a system and method for debugging in fault simulation associated with an electronic design. Embodiments may include receiving, using at least one processor, an electronic design and performing concurrent fault simulation on a fault to be analyzed associated with the electronic circuit design, wherein the fault has a fault propagation path associated therewith. Embodiments may also include identifying a trace of one or more signals of interest that are in the fault propagation path and generating a faulty database and a good database associated with the one or more signals of interest that are in the fault propagation path. Embodiments may further include identifying one or more differences between the faulty database and the good database.

Abstract: A system for a healthcare provider to administer a portable interactive hearing assessment is provided. The system allows the healthcare provider to administer the hearing assessment in a way that accurately detects hearing loss and provides recommendations for seeking further assistance from qualified hearing health specialists and/or an ENT physician. The system includes a hearing test device, and a processor that receives and processes a pressure test result associated with each of the patient's ear from a tympanometer and the patient's response to one or more pure tone frequencies transmitted by the hearing test device. The processor may also provide a report and recommendation based on received pressure test result and the determined hearing results, and demonstrate effects of any hearing loss to a person accompanying the patient so that the accompanying person understands a scope of the patient's hearing loss.

Abstract: In an embodiment, a wireless mix monitor system is provided in which the musicians have one or more wearable electronic devices that may receive digital audio over a wireless connection to a computer. The channels monitored by a given user may be mixed on the computer, on the devices, or on a combination of the computer and the devices. The musicians may be freed from a fixed mix monitor, allowing easy movement about the stage or performance space. Audio buffering and upsampling/downsampling may be used to manage temporal discontinuities in the audio stream.

In some examples, a system for storing a variable number of instances of data objects includes, one or more computing devices storing a set of data objects and multiple storage devices distinct from the one or more computing devices. Each of the multiple storage devices is configured to store at least a single instance of a data object. The system also includes a database configured to store information associated with the data objects. This information includes substantially unique identifiers for the data objects and, for each of the data objects, a number of instances of the data object stored on the multiple storage devices.

Abstract: Real-time video streaming is essential in many types of systems. A system for streaming real-time video provides a low-latency solution allows systems and humans to respond to real-time events as they occur. Client application platforms, such as HTML5, may be used for web development; however, support for real-time video is very limited. The system provides the ability to stream real-time video from an originating video source to an HTML5 web application with low latency. A real-time video server includes a relay service configured to receive a video stream from a video source, a fragmented video generator configured to convert the video stream into a file-based video compression format including a plurality of video fragments, and a streaming service configured to transmit the fragmented video file to a video client for real-time playback.

Abstract: For each pair of traffic participants (TPs) entering an intersection, a time to collision (TTC) value is calculated. A matrix of TTC values between TPs entering the intersection is created. A matrix of criticality values containing a respective criticality value for each pair of TPs is created. Each criticality value is determined as a function of both TTC and at least one additional weighting factor. A basic safety message (BSM) and/or a pedestrian safety message (PSM) is broadcast on behalf of at least one traffic participant based on having determined the criticality for each pair of traffic participants and having identified a near-miss and/or a potential-collision situation between traffic participants based on the respective criticality values in the matrix of criticality values. One or more warnings are provided to a pedestrian, a driver of a vehicle, and/or a cyclist based on the broadcasted BSM and/or PSM.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a method for operating a system for management of implantable medical devices (IMDs), comprises: conducting communications sessions with a plurality of clinician programmer devices, wherein some of the communication sessions occur while the plurality of clinician programmer devices are engaged in respective programming sessions with IMDs; conducting communications sessions with a plurality of patient controller devices, wherein the communication sessions with the patient controller devices include communication of data pertaining to offline programming of IMDs; reconciling programming session data received from the plurality of clinician programmer devices with programming session data received from patient controller devices to identify instances of unauthorized IMD programming; and distributing revocation data to patient controller devices to be downloaded to corresponding IMDs, wherein the revocation data identifies cryptographic keys that are no longer trusted.

The data warehouse server may track activities over time and accumulate a long running history, which may include multiple versions of accounts in the customer data management system, e.g., the account as of today, the account as of yesterday, and another version that was the account two weeks ago.

The datacenter power infrastructure control is modified based on decryption of the first data payload by the second component within the datacenter. The first data payload provides for intelligent power control within the datacenter. Modifying the datacenter power infrastructure control dynamically changes power control within the datacenter. The changing power control changes power policies within the datacenter. The first component is authenticated using the first data payload. Encryption includes obscurity.

Abstract: A cross-platform management system that handles cross-platform management of client requirements receives a request corresponding to a plurality of client-defined requirements to be achieved in a flight. The request for the plurality of client-defined requirements is associated with one or more request parameters. The system generates a proposal plan corresponding to the received request based on adjustment of the one or more request parameters. The proposal plan corresponds to at least a distribution of target audience across a set of delivery platforms. The system executes the generated proposal plan for a first time period in the flight on one or more delivery platforms. The system re-optimizes the generated proposal plan and controls execution of the generated proposal plan for a second time period in the flight by an in-flight re-distribution of the target audience across one or more delivery platforms of the set of delivery platforms.

The system includes a packet capturing engine configured to capture a plurality of network packets from a plurality of TCP network connections. The system includes a packet analyzer configured to analyze the plurality of network packets to generate a plurality of metrics. The system includes a network classifier configured to infer network types of the plurality of TCP connections based on the plurality of metrics and at least one classification model. The system also includes a conditions ranking engine configured to estimate a level of network congestion for each TCP connection based on the plurality of metrics and the network types.
