Abstract: Embodiments described include systems and methods for managing sessions to one or more network applications accessed via a client application including an embedded browser. The client application establishes sessions to one or more network applications. The client application identifies a session timeout policy for managing the sessions of the client application. The session timeout policy specifies a time period for which a session is determined to be inactive. The client application monitors activity in the embedded browser for each of the sessions. The client application detects that inactivity of a first session of the sessions has reached the time period of the session timeout policy. The client application detects the inactivity responsive to the monitoring. The client application terminates each of the sessions via the embedded browser responsive to the detection.

  • Patent number: 10910188
Abstract: Presented systems and methods facilitate efficient and effective generation and delivery of radiation. A radiation generation system can comprise: a particle beam gun, a high energy dissipation anode target (HEDAT); and a liquid anode control component. In some embodiments, the particle beam gun generates an electron beam. The HEDAT includes a solid anode portion (HEDAT-SAP) and a liquid anode portion (HEDAT-LAP) that are configured to receive the electron beam, absorb energy from the electron beam, generate a radiation beam, and dissipate heat. The radiation beam can include photons that can have radiation characteristics (e.g., X-ray wavelength, ionizing capability, etc.). The liquid anode control component can control a liquid anode flow to the HEDAT. The HEDAT-SAP and HEDAT-LAP can cooperatively operate in radiation generation and their configuration can be selected based upon contribution of respective HEDAT-SAP and the HEDAT-LAP characteristics to radiation generation.

  • Patent number: 10906178
Abstract: A distribution system (e.g., distributed robotic system) and method, may employ a plurality of agents, each agent associated with a respective set of processor-executable instructions, and a specification that defines routes amongst the agents. A first agent (e.g., a host agent) may be instantiated, associated with a first processor-based device in the distributed system. An attempt is made to locate an instance of a second agent. In response to locating the instance of the second agent, the instance of the second agent is registered with the instance of the first agent. A third agent may be instantiated, and the instance of the third agent registered with the instance of the first agent. A first route between the instance of the second agent and the instance of the third agent may be created, and a message sent between the instances of the second and the third agents.

  • Patent number: 10909660
Abstract: Various techniques are disclosed for reducing noise and enhancing sharpness of an input image. For example, a method includes performing an initial collaborative filtering and sharpening on the input image to generate a pilot image, using the pilot image to derive coefficients that are used to perform a second collaborative filtering on the input image to generate a filtered image. In some embodiments, the collaborative filtering and sharpening is performed using parameters that boost or enhance the differences in pixel values for the same spatial locations of the matched image blocks extracted during the collaborative filtering and sharpening process. Accordingly, the method according to various embodiments performs especially well for images that have weak spatial correlations among mutually similar blocks.

  • Patent number: 10909283
Abstract: A method for receiving a circuit layout including modules in a hierarchical structure. The method includes selecting a module in the hierarchical structure, identifying multiple toggling netlists in the module during multiple clock cycles, grouping the toggling netlists into clusters based on a toggle weight factor, and finding an average toggle weight factor for each cluster. The method includes generating instrument logic to determine a power consumption of the circuit layout based on a number of toggling netlists in each cluster for each clock cycle, and on the average toggle weight factor for each cluster, merging, with a compiler tool, the instrument logic with the circuit layout into an executable file for an emulator tool. The method includes evaluating the power consumption of the circuit layout with the emulator tool; and modifying the circuit layout when the power consumption of the circuit layout exceeds a pre-selected threshold.

  • Patent number: 10911520
Abstract: The present solution provides a variety of techniques for accelerating and optimizing network traffic, such as HTTP based network traffic. The solution described herein provides techniques in the areas of proxy caching, protocol acceleration, domain name resolution acceleration as well as compression improvements. In some cases, the present solution provides various prefetching and/or prefreshening techniques to improve intermediary or proxy caching, such as HTTP proxy caching. In other cases, the present solution provides techniques for accelerating a protocol by improving the efficiency of obtaining and servicing data from an originating server to server to clients. In another cases, the present solution accelerates domain name resolution more quickly. As every HTTP access starts with a URL that includes a hostname that must be resolved via domain name resolution into an IP address, the present solution helps accelerate HTTP access.
