  • Patent number: 10942292
Abstract: Methods and systems for non-intrusively detecting existence of fissile materials by measuring energetic prompt neutrons. The unique nature of the prompt neutron energy spectrum from photo-fission arising from emission of neutrons from almost fully accelerated fragments is used to unambiguously identify fissile material. Angular distribution of prompt neutrons from photo-fission and energy distribution correlated to neutron angle relative to the photon beam are used to distinguish odd-even from even-even nuclei undergoing photo-fission. Independence of the neutron yield curve (yield as a function of electron beam energy or photon energy) on neutron energy is used to distinguish photo-fission from other processes such as (?, n). Different beam geometries detect localized samples of fissile material and fissile materials dispersed as small fragments or thin sheets over broad regions.

Abstract: Described herein are techniques for improving user experience in a video game. In some embodiments, the techniques utilize one or more snapshots of the video game over time to adjust a pose of a user's input device in the video game. For example, the user's input device may be a spatially tracked controller which has a tracked pose in the video game. A user input may indicate a button pressed on the spatially tracked controller (e.g., triggering firing of a shot in the video game). In some embodiments, the techniques use the snapshot(s) of the video game that capture instances prior to the user input to adjust a pose of the user input device in the video game to provide an improved user experience.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for saving and loading workspaces in augmented reality (AR) environments. An embodiment operates by detecting a command associated with a mobile device configured to interact with an augmented reality (AR) environment, wherein the command indicates an intent to include content from the mobile device in the AR environment. A flat image of the content is received from the mobile device. The flat image from the mobile device is displayed as a holographic image in the AR environment. It is determined that there are a plurality of users accessing the AR environment from a plurality of different devices, wherein each of the plurality of users can see the displayed holographic image in the AR environment.

  • Patent number: 10936379
Abstract: Described herein are systems and methods for transparent resiliency to multiple data centers. The systems and methods depicted determine if an application programming interface (API) call is idempotent. If the API call is idempotent, the calls can be concurrently forwarded to multiple datacenters. If the API call is not idempotent, the calls can be sent to each of a multiple datacenters in turn until a response is received or timeout occurs. Automatically providing multi-region calls in synchrony provides a faster response time during data center or regional failures. Automatically providing multi-region calls in synchrony at the appliance server side, moves the logic out of the client and into a transparent and centrally managed service. This can allow business logic to focus on the core logic and not on logic to retry requests or manage the multi-regional aspect of a dependent service.

  • Patent number: 10935625
Abstract: Methods and systems are described for determining the shortest RF path in a multi-path environment. In an aspect a signal is transmitted by a transmitter. Multiple copies of the signal are received by a multi-directional receiver based on antenna elements that have a unique antenna pattern for each copy of the signal and where the copies are phase correlated and time synchronized. The copies are deconstructed into components of the reflected and line-of-sight waves of the transmitted signal. The shortest path is selected from among the reflected and line-of-sight waves using the deconstruction.
