Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media for creating and managing cloud servers and services using a multi-tenant multi-session catalog with machine-level isolation are described herein. In one or more embodiments, a cloud service provider may receive requests from one or more tenants for predefined numbers of servers. The cloud service provider may initialize a plurality of servers, wherein the plurality of servers is less than a sum of the totality of server requests, and create a catalog of unassigned servers of the plurality of servers. Responsive to a logon request from a user of a tenant, the cloud service provider may assign a server from the catalog of unassigned servers to the tenant, remove the server from the catalog of unassigned servers, broker the user of the tenant to connect to the server, and limit access to the server to only users of the tenant.

Abstract: Vivaldi tapered slot and Vivaldi horn antennas that feature or include fractal plasmonic surfaces (“FPS”) are described. Vivaldi slot antennas are described which include a conductive surface defining a tapered slot, with the conductive surface including a plurality of fractal resonators which form or constitute a fractal plasmonic surface (FPS). In some embodiments the fractal resonators can be defined by slots. In some embodiments the fractal resonators can include self-complementary features. In exemplary embodiments, two Vivaldi horn antennas may be used for a Vivaldi horn antenna. The two Vivaldi FPS antennas can be arranged in a crossed or cross configuration such that the two antennas are essentially perpendicular to one another and are therefore able to receive and transmit two orthogonal polarizations of radiation. The two antennas can be fed by separate respective feed lines. The two antennas can be mounted inside of a horn or casing.

Abstract: A mounting and leveling system for an electronic image display device (10) formed of an array of multiple display sections (12) facilitates adjustment of the alignment of adjacent display sections to minimize visible seams between display sections. Some embodiments include one or more magnetically actuated fasteners (220) that facilitate front-access-only installation and adjustment without requiring access to the rear, top, bottom, or sides of the array. Tools (300, 410) for installation and removal of display modules (50) from a front side of the display device are also disclosed. Fasteners (220) for providing a hidden adjustable connection between first and second objects are also disclosed. One such fastener includes a screw (226) having a magnetic head (222) that presents a magnetic moment perpendicular to its axis of rotation (234).

Abstract: Electrodes for use in electroencephalographic recording, including consciousness and seizure monitoring applications, have novel features that speed, facilitate or enforce proper placement of the electrodes, including any of alignment indicators, tabs and juts, color coding, and an insulating bridge between reference and ground electrodes which ensures a safe application distance between the conductive regions of the two electrodes in the event of cardiac defibrillation. A method of using a set of at least four such electrodes is also disclosed.
Abstract: Described embodiments provide for low-latency classification of flows, via an intelligent learning-based system. In one implementation, a packet processor may utilize destination internet protocol (IP) addresses and domains identified in first packets of flows to determine if a similar flow has been previously received, directed to the same address and domain, or apply default routing and policy rules if not. The packet processor may subsequently fully classify the flow; generate a record in an association database for the combination of application, address, and domain, and a starting confidence level; and apply proper routing and policy rules. A subsequent flow for the same application and destination IP address may then be classified as the same as the prior flow, with corresponding routing and policy rules applied. The packet processor may continue to fully classify the flow, and upon full classification, the database entry may be updated and the confidence level adjusted.
Abstract: The data storage system according to certain aspects can filter secondary copies of data (e.g., backups, snapshots, archives, etc.) generated by multiple client computing devices into a single, filtered, global reference copy. A reference copy may be a filtered view or representation of secondary storage data in a data storage system. A reference copy may include a data structure that includes references to a subset of secondary storage data that meets certain filtering criteria. The filtering criteria may be specified by users according to user preference. Data included in a reference copy may be stored in native format (e.g., format of the application that generated the data) and be accessible through the application associated with the data.
Abstract: A system, a method and a computer program product for storing data, which include receiving a data stream having a plurality of transactions that include at least one portion of data, determining whether at least one portion of data within at least one transaction is substantially similar to at least another portion of data within at least one transaction, clustering together at least one portion of data and at least another portion of data within at least one transaction, selecting one of at least one portion of data and at least another portion of data as a representative of at least one portion of data and at least another portion of data in the received data stream, and storing each representative of a portion of data from each transaction in the plurality of transactions, wherein a plurality of representatives is configured to form a chain representing the received data stream.
Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein to provide a user-interface to visualize and control a beam request panel for requesting allocation of usage of a shared therapy beam. Abstract: A patient support apparatus for spine surgery includes first and second lift columns. A patient support frame extends between the first and second lift columns. The patient support frame has a first section to support a torso of a patient and a beam that extends from the first section. The beam is coupled to a foot end region of the first section about midway between opposite sides of the first section. A first set of leg supports are located adjacent a first side of the beam and a second set of leg supports are located adjacent a second side of the beam. The first and second sets of leg supports are independently movable relative to the beam and relative to the first section to support the legs of the patient in a plurality of positions.
Abstract: Various embodiments described herein provide a multiple injection lock ring-based PI that can inject a plurality of clock signals, of different phases, at injection points disposed along the ring chain of the PI and lock phase to those received clock signals (injected clock signals). For instance, an embodiment described herein may provide a multiple injection lock ring-based PI that permits double injection, triple injection, or the like, of clock signals external into the PI.
Abstract: A novel detection system and method is presented, where a two-bead receptor method is used for capturing pathogens, with one type of bead being magnetic and having a size of 3 microns or smaller, and the other type being polymeric and having a size of 3 microns or larger. The first type is used to concentrate a pathogen; the latter is used to create a detectable signal. Fast sensitive detection is achieved by collecting the optical signal created by the distortion of a homeotropically aligned chromonic azo dye in the presence of captured pathogens.
Abstract: In some embodiments, a monolithic extended bolt release (EBR) for a rifle includes a rifle mount including a pin aperture for securing the EBR to the rifle case/housing, a bolt stop plate integrally formed with the rifle mount for stopping the rifle bolt, and an extension arm integrally formed with the rifle mount and bolt stop plate. The extension arm includes a vertical straight arm extending from the rifle-mounting part to a trigger opening when the EBR is mounted on a rifle, and a horizontal straight arm connected to the vertical straight arm and passing through the trigger opening. A right-handed rifle user can release the bolt by pressing with finger(s) on the EBR on the right of the rifle, pivoting the EBR about the mounting pin, lowering a bolt stop plate of the EBR and allowing release of the bolt and reloading of the rifle. The EBR design displays superior reliability over extended periods of use in harsh conditions.
Abstract: An information management system provides a data deduplication system that uses a primary table, a deduplication chunk table, and a chunk integrity table to ensure that a referenced deduplicated data block is only verified once during the data verification of a backup or other replication operation. The data deduplication system may reduce the computational and storage overhead associated with traditional data verification processes. The primary table, the deduplication chunk table, and the chunk integrity table, all of which are stored in a deduplication database, can also ensure synchronization between the deduplication database and secondary storage devices.
