Patents Assigned to Systems & Technic S.A.
  • Patent number: 4176670
Abstract: A storing and feeding device for coins comprises a tube having an end that widens toward the outside, with retainers at the widened end of the tube for retaining the coins. The tube is slidably mounted on a support that has resilient pads that widen the retainers to free the coins. The coins, in turn, have a packaging comprising an opening strip and a sealing flange. The opening strip is accessible from outside the tube through a longitudinal opening in its wall.

  • Patent number: 4126147
Abstract: A coin dispenser sequentially dispenses coins of different denominations, starting with the highest and dispensing the maximum number possible in each denomination. A plurality of stacks of coins are arranged in side-by-side relationship with a continuously rotating cylinder below them common to all the stacks. A plurality of pegs are radially slidable on and relative to the cylinder and are arranged in helical fashion, one peg per stack. Cam and ratchet mechanism is provided for selectively advancing the peg associated with the denomination of coin to be dispensed, when that peg is below its associated stack, the peg being raised during as many revolutions of the cylinder as are necessary to dispense the required number of coins of that denomination.

  • Patent number: 4111216
Abstract: The invention relates to a coin sorting machine comprising a rotary plate, a funnel located in the central portion of the plate, a peripheral shoulder which prevents the coins from leaving the rotary plate as well as at least one station for the selection and extraction of one coin denomination from the remaining coin denominations. This machine is characterized in that each selection station comprises on the one hand structure permitting a movement of at least part of a coin beneath the upper surface of the plate and on the other hand a coin-contacting element which comes into contact with a coin to be selected lying flat on the rotary plate, and pushes the radially inner part of the coin below the upper surface of the plate so that the radially outer part of the coin is tipped up and clears the shoulder and the coin is ejected by centrifugal force over the shoulder, without tumbling. This machine permits a very rapid sorting of a store of loose coins.

  • Patent number: 4109139
Abstract: A coin sorter and totalizer which easily can be adapted to count the coins of many different countries despite the use of different coinage systems in those countries. The coins are sorted mechanically according to size, and an electrical signal identifying the coin according to its size is produced. Two sets of terminals are mounted near one another so that connections can be made to them easily. Changing these connections will change the scaling of the coin identification signals in accordance with the value of the coin of that size in the country in which the totalizer is to be used. The connections can be changed by the use of jumper wires, or by connecting a pre-wired multiple circuit element such as a printed circuit board, an integrated circuit chip, or a pre-wired plug-in panel between the sets of terminals. The connection process is very simple because only one wire need be connected for each size of coin to be totalized.
