    Abstract: Torque verification apparatus and methods for verifying that an amount of torque applied to the nut of a fastener of the type comprising a threaded nut and a bolt having a threaded body portion and a head portion is equal to or greater than a predetermined torque value are provided. The apparatus and methods are particularly useful for verifying that the amount of torque applied to the lug nuts used to mount a wheel to a wheel hub of a vehicle is equal to or greater than a predetermined torque value.
