    Abstract: A seat slide device including upper and lower rails, with a pair of leg brackets provided under the lower rail. Of such two leg brackets, the one is fixed to a rearward lateral surface of the lower rail, in order that a force is escaped down to a floor from a seat belt anchor which is provided on a rearward part of the upper rail, to thereby effectively protect the lower rail against deformation or damage.
